Chelsea can go either way but personally I think we’re going to end up seeing thing similar to what happened to Arsenal 5 years ago where they had players like Özil and Aubameyang who were solid but ended up tailing off and their egos ended up hurting the mentality of the club. Not all these players are going to work out and I will guarantee more than one will end up refusing to leave and just remaining at the club to collect a pay check. At least with older players they had a legacy to protect l; these young guys aren’t going to have the names to be picked up by Saudi
I think what will happen with Liverpool is the same as with Shankly and Paisley. Shankly for me is the most important person in the clubs history. He won a bit but what he created was just so so incredible. The whole club more or less. He brought meaning to it in so so many different ways. Paisley then went on and won everything multiple times. Klopp has again reinvented the club and Slot is taking over and I think he will do the same. That might be the Liverpool optimist in me, also a culture that Shankly started. I just hope Klopp won’t get the same treatment as Shankly. Shanks was bigger than the club in many ways and the club treated him badly after he left for that reason. I think to myself that such characters deserve the best treatment even if it undermines current authority a little bit.
Its so odd that opposition fans with come up with any generic reasons chelsea will not win the league in 3 years. at this phase one, Chelsea is already second. good luck bad belle!
Where did you have them finish before the season started? I could barely find anyone who had them in the top 6, let alone in a title race. If you go down the list of players they've spent the 'wow 1.2b' on you'll quickly realise about half that are either not arrived at the club yet, out on loan to be flipped for profit or already sold. If you check the squad value on any given weekend for Chelsea, they're about on par with Arsenal.
Chelsea fan's response to a super calm Arsenal reality check: Here's my totally unwarranted and irrelevant dig at Arsenal because you guys are so annoying!
Why’d liverpool get brought into the conversation about fairness in psr 😂 wtf we have the strictest wage structure and never blow big money on players and the Newcastle fan saying they had to sell to be able to bid 60/70 mill on guehi… so coutinho just never got sold for 140 mil to be able to sign Alisson and Virgil people forget very quick when it suits them😂 the ceicedo bid was ridiculous before anyone mentions it 😂
Naah. Chelsea aren't going to win league with this team. It's one thing to be humble. But being 2 points behind Liverpool and the manager still not believing that they can win the league shows lack in mentality. And to top it of they go and lose to everton when they should be winning it to come on top of the table
Next year they will be saying that it's just second season of enzo. I have seen this movie play out with arteta. Not the correct mentality to win trophies.
The Spurs fan's point on Chelsea with UCL was key. Chelsea are not going to be playing their second or third XI in that. What happens to them?! Also no one brought up Maresca nearly choking away in the most spectacular way the Championship last season to the point Leicester fans were majorly panicking and calling for his head.
They have the strongest squad in the league for rotation purposes. In terms of squad depth and quality within backup players, Chelsea is without doubt the strongest, not only in the Premier League, but the entire planet.
@MrDddrrrggg well ok, Chelsea have like 40 first eleven players on the books while being in the Confefence League and not having to play their first XI. Big whoopty doo. If they are the strongest on the planet, then there is no excuse for not winning the league.
Leicester fans also said he was stubborn and had only one way of playing, which turned out to be a complete lie, so idk, maybe consider the fact that he’s managing a much more talented, versatile and deeper squad?? 🤔
@teejayabam7784 Like, sure, maybe. But let's not kid ourselves that Leicester side last season in the Championship was not significantly more talented than any other side, and they were spiralling out of control rapidly in the second half of the season. It's not a lie if that is what they saw, too.
On the point the Bournemouth fan made about refs, I think loads of decisions go for 'smaller' clubs vs bigger sides but not much is ever made of it whilst the media could spend an entire weekend discussing an incorrect decision that helped United for example.
It’s crazy how pundits never call this out i have a feeling this refs target specific teams like Arsenal or Liverpool. Saliba got a red card against Bournemouth and var audio was released. If you go watch Chelsea vs Liverpool Lavia made a tackle on Jota that was almost identical to Saliba’s why was no var audio released worst of all why didn’t Lavia get a red card . The premier league’s refs are disgraceful and I’ve never once heard sky sports question the decisions of the ref
@ my whole point was they don’t target specific teams, Chelsea have lost cup finals vs both Arsenal and Liverpool on the back clear incorrect decisions helping Liverpool and Arsenal. My point was the smaller clubs constantly get shafted by the refs when they play bigger clubs feels like a myth that is constantly perpetuated over and over.
@@bookclub5021 i agree and one of those teams has to be City ever found it strange how almost all VAR decisions go in City’s way or how all of Micheal Oliver’s controversial decisions go in City’s way .But also my other point was how pundits give all this bad officiating the blind eye for instance Liverpool vs Tottenham after the match was over why did no pundit talk about how Diaz was onside or how Udogie tripped and wasn’t fouled by Jota . Or the Odergaard handball honestly officiating in the prem has just become a joke not to help how Micheal Oliver was paid by City to go officiate in Saudi

City fan here, Chelsea can definitely win it in the next 3 years. Palmer alone with decent players around him is reason enough, the kid is a generational talent (cries in man city 😢)
@bookclub5021 pure frustration. Not only because of Palmer, but all the academy players we overlooked and are now thriving elsewhere, Palmer is the epitome of that. But on him and his game specifically I'm actually starting to think letting him go might be worse than if we would've let Foden go when he was coming up. Palmer is the kind of player that just takes matters into his own hands when his team needs him to, sort of like KDB is for City. Need a cross? Call Palmer. A pen? Palmer. Shot from outside the box? 1x1? Trough ball? Dribble a couple of players to get a chance? Palmer, Palmer, Palmer. He's such a game changer he can carry an average team to great results.
@@camerondavies8442 he won't be needing to do that, they've got good players and most of them will only get better because it's such a young squad. They even have Estevão and Paez to come, I'm not a fan of the strategy they applied by buying anyone available and seeing if they're good after but like it or not they've hit on a few very very good footballers.
if manchester city are found guilty, then yes without a doubt there will be an asterisk next to all those years but that obviously doesnt tarnish the fact that kevin de bruyne is probably the greatest player the leagues ever seen, and aguero, david silva, toure, and all are all time premier league greats
I've always maintaned this since last season that Chelsea will win a PL title/UCL before arsenal. Chelsea got the players, squad depth, a board willing to spend, and the manager who let's be honest looks very capable. The only threat to CHelsea in coming years will be Man city, annd maybe Man united with an outside chance (because I believe Man united will get their act together at some point). Liverpool I think will drop off in a season or two when Trent leaves and van dijk/salah decline. Their ownership is least likely to spend and compete with the rest. Their only hope is on point scouting. Arsenal will just float in vacuum, they dont have the squad depth (btw good enough first XI) and their board is not cut throat and ambitious in market. They would have won this year imo if they signed what they needed in the summer. They decided to rely on an average kai havert instead of signing a top striker and backed out of a nico williams deal because of the money. Their left side stinks. And the arsenal fan talking about the 3/4 year process and all that, Chelsea absolutely shat on it.
Okay but we still have the January transfer windows to make big signings, how many of those players on your bench are world class. Quality over quantity

If Chelsea do win the league in the next 2-3 days it will purely be down to the right manager (might well be Maresca but who knows) managing to put all the pieces together but not without having to filter out and get rid of the absolute dross whilst having to keep spending more money to get even more additions in. It won't be because of some grand masterplan started a few years back as much as Chelsea fans will pretend. If you throw enough mud at the wall...

The Tottenham fan is absolutely delusional. You can't just back your own club based on the squad at first. And then say 16 years later you have a chance to win all the trophies. Everything works from the core to success not just shortcuts.

Chelsea fan is delusional

Strange how I only counted 17 fans
Only 16
Chelsea could win the league this year, they should absolutely be in the conversation with the amount of money they've spent

@@LoCoAde87 There is if you understood how it works. You can’t put the best players itw together and expect them to play well, it takes time.
@teejayabam7784 Like, sure, maybe. But let's not kid ourselves that Leicester side last season in the Championship was not significantly more talented than any other side, and they were spiralling out of control rapidly in the second half of the season.
It's not a lie if that is what they saw, too.
Go on Zac!
@@Astrogaming54 yup, Liverpool & City being given the slip whilst Arsenal & Spurs slapped with cards & fines. Should be each to their own account..

where is city?
City fan here, Chelsea can definitely win it in the next 3 years. Palmer alone with decent players around him is reason enough, the kid is a generational talent (cries in man city 😢)
How do you feel about what Palmer has become since leaving City?
@@nicholasfilipovich871I like how city fans speak the truth and aren’t delusional like arsenal fans

@@camerondavies8442 he won't be needing to do that, they've got good players and most of them will only get better because it's such a young squad.

Most of us don't like Chelsea lol. They poach all are players and staff.
