Since somebody is actually seeing this I want to apologize for bad gameplay here, I was really tired from this fight. I would’ve done it differently now.
I think it’s important to understand that this was a no hit run, against the bull crap that Sigun pulls, so I’d imagine after 50 attempts, being so close to finishing this, at the time there was probably slight panic, which obviously wasn’t enough to throw him off, but it did pacifie whenever Sigun moved too much. This is on GMGOW NG+, in which basically every move Sigrun does oneshots you or leaves you on very low health, so no-hit runs aren't that uncommon. Not to take away from his accomplishment though, this is definitely one of the hardest bosses I've ever done.
As the dude said, it’s GMGOW+ and I’m running with partial Zeus set, so any attack will instantly kill me. And even still you can see how little damage I’m actually doing, it was absolutely exhausting.

How to defeat sigrun (the easy way) 1. Make the ivaldi's armor (from nilfheim) and it also has to be the endless version. 2. If you have great enchantments for defense,strength,runic,Cooldown. Use it. Together it can be used to definitely destroy a valkyarie so easy! But not so easy for sigrun 3. The runics shall be the ones with stun, damage. And only use also the runics that has a lot of BURN. (For the blades of chaos BOC) 4. This is all explanations of how to dodge all attacks. Wingslash/ count the slashes every time (total is four) sometimes a wing step after or more. Wingstep/ After wingslash when it hits you with her wing that's a reminder that a wingstep is coming. So once she attacks, evade from the right and ATTACK!MuselpheimFire/ a bunch of meteors (3) fall down from the sky. And make a bit of radius to catch you. This is the gondul attack where you have to dodge from the right and sometimes theres also a wingstep (and its fast) so i want you to be carefull about the wingstep because that is fast. Some wingstep actually don't give you a reminder so that you can be tricked and get damaged . ScytheSlash/ This is easy to dodge. But also you can just block it as well, because its so weak. BlindPower/ An ability that basically blinds you like Kara. To not get blinded you have to look away. NilfheimIceAbility/Now this ability is from Hildr where its ice basically is like a bullet and you have to dodge the big one at the end 2 ScytheSlashes/ For the first slash, go to the right to dodge and for the second one. If you're lucky enough, you can block it with the shield. BigRadius/ An ability where it can give you a concussion because of its power. It has a big radius so you can hit it with the Leviathan Axe or if you're far from the valkyarie, your basically alright. SmallRadius/Same thing but basically just dodge to the right and theres one more small attack at the end. Just dodge to the right once more and attack. Thats it folks!
@@zoomsday3999 It really depends, to me Gna is harder... But it might seem weaker bc w Kratos if u completed the game and left Gna for the last, ur WAY more OP in Ragnarok that in GOW2018, u ve more skills, more weapons (also more runic attacks), Freyas abilities r way more op than Atreus, etc.
Nothing more satisfying than hearing the Valkyrie’s cries of pain and their scream of struggle during the fight, and then when you rip off their wings… so god damn satisfying.

I was able to luck out on my first attempt years ago. I was just in time to smash a health crystal which let me survive her "VALHALLA!!" jumps after she blinded me. Stun locked her long enough to widdle the rest of her health down.
bro i used zeus armor, that was just pain, one shot and it was over, yes it does a lot of damage, but dont rely on that, i had no choice but to beat her without getting hit
I feel you bro. It took me 3 days to beat Sigrun in Give me a Challenge difficulty and 3 months in beating in Give me God of War. All the feels brother, all the feels.
It took me a while too, but the secret is keep your shield up, be prepared for that red circle that you can't block and use Atreus as much as possible.

Maybe I am crazy but this looks easier than Olrun. I'm just now playing the game for the first time, got the chisel, and went straight to Olrun at level 4 (still don't have Kratos' blades, or anywhere near the buffs this guy has). I only just read that her preattack dash direction determines her attack, but up until this point, the Olrun fight has seemed cheap, since it was seemingly random which attack she'd do when she lunged. At least this seems more telegraphed, and less likely to break lock on. And maybe it's the time slow effect activating earlier than I think, but her version of the valhalla! attack seems to give you more time to dodge. Olrun it feels instantaneous (and she usually does it when I'm stuck mid-animation accidentally parrying one of her projectiles), but it seems like Sigrun jumps up then takes 2 seconds before actually popping back on screen.
Those damn valkyries were a BIT H‼️ I got Plat in all the god of wars but those valkeries really put me to the test. Now the berserker are no joke either.
got it like 4 or 5 tries easily cause all you have to do is first get a good armor like a niflheim armor and then upgrade it and add some buffs and use atreus to make her stop with the flying blind thing and u're good to go

Took me 12, Boost your Runic and specially your Luck stat, having more Luck makes the valkyrie a bit slow and pause a bit between series of attack, I was suprised when I discovered it 😅
This was the hardest boss I ever fought in a video game period, I fought it on the hardest difficulty and had the best gear and still struggled, managed to do it in like 2 hrs which was a miracle but boy was it a pain for those 2 hours, behomoth with base gear in monster hunter took 2 weeks but that was more of a group fight and that was the hardest boss for me.
@@shmekelfreckles8157 He's fun to fight imo and yea he's difficult but compared to behemoth if you fight fatais, then behemoth with base gear (Since behemoth came out base game you wanna use base gear for the authentic experience and you should notice the difficulty
I'm not a gamer. I'm just someone who likes to enjoy a game once in while when i have time. So it took me toooooooo much time to beat this boss. And i even chetead with the talisman thing but even with that i suffered.
Can someone please telle how can i predict her moves from 1:35 to 1:39. One dash does the spin and the other does the fist. I both situations her movements are the same with few miliseconds time to tell if you need to keep the shield up or sidestep to the right. I always die because I rarely can notice what is she going to do. The red circle give very little notice
Actually you did pretty well, Jormungandr was still looking at the fight, if you loose many times he will stop looking, so, as I said, you did pretty well.

when it comes to dying in this game I've learned people lie the same way women lie about how many men they slept with it's always more. you died for about an hr straight got something to eat used the bathroom then came back and got your ass kicked the rest of the night until about a week later you got this masterpiece.

this gives me ptsd with gna from GOWR. It took me over 100 tries or so.
I died sooo many time to Gna and the berserker king so I finally put the difficulty on the easiest setting to fight them lol.

Exactly! I had a similar experience, i found Olrun to be much harder than any other boss Sigrun included

Gna was way harder, like goddamn. Got a video on her but it’s not the best one.
Took me hours of months, and only succeeded after I got the extra damage with the gauntlet.

If she dashes back after a spin she will do that unblockable attack
