Nice vid! I ordered mine yesterday. Been waiting for a solid budget 1800 layout to build out for work. Already picked up the WS silent tactiles to pair with it. Excited to see how it turns out.
This seems like a really good board for people needing the numpad. I personally am waiting for the wireless version of the M1. I love 75%'s, and am quite happy with my QK75, but would still pick up an M1 wireless to use as a secondary board!
@@rejidomus3013 yup! I have that in mind just not sure how much. I asked in the discord and I asked Monsgeek and they said as long as I order through Canada Post I won't get it with duties, I just have to wait a long time so I'm conflicted.
Oo, it looks like they're starting to make bigger layouts rather than making a small layout in the first place. What if they're planning to make an actual full size layout tho? That'd be awesome to see in the comm more often. Awesome build btw
@@PrestonsThoughts Keyboards used to have larger keys that were better suited to masculine fingers. Even the Kensington keyboard I currently have has larger than normal modern keys, but it's now been redesigned to provide the same old smaller ones.
@@PrestonsThoughts They may be now, but they never used to be, as demonstrated by my 2.5 year old ValuKeyboard, the keys of which are a full 1.8cm square.

Will be very quiet but will feel very good to type on!
Interesting move, going from a 75 to a 96/1800 (idr) layout. I would assume they would go with a more common layout, like a 60/65/80
Agreed but it's welcomed as there aren't many good budget 1800 keyboards on the market

I agree the M1 is great!
It's $200 for me in Canada (including keycaps but not switches). Would this be worth it for a first time builder?
It's a great entry level board so I would say it's a good option
Don't forget duties for import across the border.

@@mellsc766 I like it as well but I am not sure yet. Either this or a Keychron V5. They have very similar layouts.
@@rejidomus3013 Same lol. Let me know what you choose!
My copy of the M2 is the non international version and I have a strange issue with all switches the plate and pcb bend downwards

Thanks! And who knows maybe in the future
can you do a review of the cidoo v65?
Looks like a cheaper zoom65 but maybe I will in the future!
@@PrestonsThoughts Thanks! There is also the finalkey v65 that is similar to that.
@@aidn_0828 which version were you looking at for the cidoo?? my epomaker cidoo v65 just came in and i adore it.
@@do1609 does the keyboard support screw in stabs? and I also heard that there was a problem with the daughterboard not being properly crimped.
Awful keyboards with keys suited for little girly fingers.
There is pretty much only one size of Keycap what does this comment even mean

That not true at all 😭 Kensington Keycaps are the same size
