Tied with the Levin Corolla for me, just because I prefer NA. Turbo's can be a bit, idk, weird, for me. But yeah arguably a really good car for such things too. Though the AE86 beats it in practicality, just barely. I just wish it was available for Assetto Corsa, cause there's no way I can ever afford one in real life. And even if I could afford it I can't register it in my country... @@rushmatic Yep. And no, it was built before the Z31 existed. There is a good chance Nissan took inspiration from it, because some members of the Mid Night Club were tuners and CEO's. It's also not running a VG like everyone thinks, it's running it's factory L28, but it's been stroked and bored so far that nobody is sure how much displacement it's got. It also runs an insanely low amount of boost (under 3PSI) which is most likely how it hasn't blown up. And that car broke 200MPH.

I bought it because my SW20 burned down, and I needed a car fast and I drove to Bellingham, WA from Seattle, WA to buy this at night time, in the rain. I truly grew to appreciate it and sold it when I needed rear seats. I now feel nostalgic about this car. Oh yeah, my dad bought one second hand, when they were still a relatively new car. @flyingbodysymphony 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I don’t think Mr Regular’s addressed it anywhere, but I can think of two good reasons as to why that’s stopped for the time being
One being The Disease™️ still looming large. True, it wasn’t stopping him previously, but
I suspect the second reason is more relevant and prominent. Y’know how they’re drumming up money to replace Goldie, RCR’s camera car, between this ad and the Mustang giveaway? That’s probably causing the guys more than a few headaches right now. It sucks when the crux of your business is slowly falling apart and in desperate need of replacement.
If it’s still on moratorium after they buy their new 4Runner though, try catching a podcast stream and asking why there. Throwing in a few dollars, if you’re able, will make sure Mr Regular and Roman see it

@@flyingbodysymphony my guess was something a bit different. I assumed that since the channel has gained a bit of following, it would be hard to him to go to anything local or anything remotely large without being recognized by at least one fan, which would slow down the making of that kind of video since he’s kind enough not to ignore them. There was a big tax bracket jump at exactly 2.0L back then. Also applied to cars over a certain *width* which is why the US "widebody" and JDM Accords were different starting in the late '90s.
The trick that made the Z31 work in Japan was when they eventually dropped the RB20DET in it, in the Fairlady 200ZR. Rare but amazing.

    Fun fact.
In Serbia, we have same tax per displacement law.
Lowest bracket is under 1150cc, because Yugo was 1148. Next is up 1300, 1500, 1800, 2000 and over 2000. If you have car with engine over 2000cc, tax goes form 300$ per year, to 800$ per year. Next is over 3000cc, which is more than 1500, and over that I have no idea.
My grandfather lives in Austria and has 2200cc Renault Espace. For him, it is impossible to find a mechanic in Serbia who knows this engine, yet alone parts. It is easier to find parts for Ferrari or 5.0 Mustang, than 2.2L. Because you are either normal, and drive under 2000cc, or very rich and can afford a car over 2L. And then, you will not buy 2.2, but at least 3.5L V6.
