December 14, 2008, Arrival of Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, to St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Mayfield, PA. Metropolitan Hilarion visited to introduce BISHOP GEORGE as Bishop of Mayfield.

Metropolitan Hilarion was a rare bird 🦢 a true holy man…
I spent 8 wonderful years in his private company & there’s never been a time he wasn’t elegant… spiritually & manners wise..: he operated from the heart & nous… learning from him so many things.
A great loss
