    Great fix and video, thank you for this! Without reading further comments, I can see you used your own faction label rather than what they should have sent you, or I might have suggested popping open the other shoulder so you can see how it's possible to push out the entire plastic tab and push in the included autobot faction symbol in its place. Anyways, good job with your fix and thank you for sharing!

      I never received the logo to replace the plate, but I prefer the sticker to the original one they provided (they improved for second release).

    Thanks brother looks much nicer than the included insignia. Now that looks like a proper mp 44 ko. Wish another ko comes out to iron things out tbh. Great video mate.

    Great video, watch the whole thing and I don't even have the figure yet. I'd encourage you to do more. You speak clearly and sensibly, especially considering you didn't have a script or a proper light/camera setup. Thanks for the instructions/advice. The touchups with Molotow look great, too. Just one thing: YOU GOTTA TRANSFORM HIM, COME ON!
    Also, how is the audio quality in person, does it sound good...or cheap and tinny? It sounded pretty good in your vid.

    • @GreenHad0ken
      @GreenHad0ken  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks for the kind words! The audio is good on a couple of tracks, ok on others, and not so great on the rest. The chinese clips sound terrible, not that I can understand them, but the audio is really tiny and scratchy. Most say the audio is better in ko than original.
      P.s. I ain't transforming him! Though I was tempted the other day!

    • @GreenHad0ken
      @GreenHad0ken  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I finally decided to transform it. Not much fun at all, but not as difficult as I thought it would be. It's out of my system now, so really won't do it again.

    Question, what do you do if the voice box isn't working?

    • @GreenHad0ken
      @GreenHad0ken  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I would first test batteries, then open and check connections. The soldering inside isn't great, so a wire may need connecting. My guide for the light up eye mod will show how to open the voice box. Good luck!

      Tamiya X-14 Sky Blue is supposed to be the right color of blue. That's what i got for my KO at the suggestion of someone who used X-14 and posted pictures of their KO's eyes. Looked perfect.
      Not sure if you need to use a primer on the eyes before painting on the blue so i got some just in case.

    • @GreenHad0ken
      @GreenHad0ken  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used an acrylic paint called Azul Andrea 70.841 by model colour, but any rich light blue to your taste will work. I also coated them with clear nail polish to protect and give a high gloss effect. Just dont go crazy with the clear polish, just add it to the top of the plastic for the eyes, not adding around the sides, or it will do as it does to fix tabs, by making them thicker. I hope that makes sense!

      I paint warhammer stuff.....but im an 80's baby well defo be doing a starscream though.....i dont spray or air brush but ive found vallejo and citedal paints are defo the best brands to use on plastics and resin.....both have a vast range

    • @irarose316

      But tamiya is second best to those 2 brands.....unless your are looking for a specific colour.....but all 3 do mediums so you can mix the perfect tone

    Great mods I intend to do the same if showz ever ships it. Can you tell me if the eyes were transparent? I plan to place an led in the head. I also wanna paint his forearm details yellow but it looks like a pain to disassemble the arms though.
    Thanks for the vid

    • @GreenHad0ken
      @GreenHad0ken  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. I hope you get it soon (11th aug?) Yes, the eyes are transparent. I also had plans to put an led inside (to match MP36 head mod) but with the block, space is limited. Would be great to see how you do it! As for the forearm detail your in luck, they are actually translucent yellow plastic, with red transparent paint. So if you remove the paint your good.

    • @denozed6554
      @denozed6554 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GreenHad0ken thanks for the info. I see the block is now being used as the method to change heads. I might have to hollow out the block a bit but I have to have it in hand to see.

    • @GreenHad0ken
      @GreenHad0ken  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@denozed6554 indeed, you will need to dremel and/or file away most of the block (you have 3 blocks including the starscream head), leaving only the ball socket (base) sides and the back. You'll also need to glue the pieces of the head together, so that you can shave the inside down to make more space.

      @GreenHad0ken  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@m1k3mu3ll3r Ah, it was a while ago, sorry😅 From what I remember, if you were to glue the screw, the arm wouldn't move, unless you were to add glue to the point of the screw, if that makes sense!
