I would put Kieran in Iconic. Firstly his choice was become a Traitor or die so the moment Wilf recruited him, Kieran had lost. Also what two words in Traitors are more iconic than "parting gift"?

He dropped a couple of cryptic lines and made sure Hannah saw him give Wilf the eye and then voted Wilf, none of these acts are individually against the rules of the game, but together they did what Kieran wanted and made Hannah and Aaron too suspicious of Wilf to end the game with him.

Imo Amanda is one of the best traitors in all the seasons. She had an incredible social game and was probably the most trusted player. She maintained the perfect level of input both in and out of the roundtable, and had she not been thrown under the bus she 100% would’ve gone undetected right to the end. Obviously her Theo slip up caused her banishment but it’s clear in the episode she did a good job justifying it because for most of episode 10 Meryl and Hannah are very reluctant to vote for her and in the end even Kieran says he feels like he might have been wrong. Other traitors had made similar mistakes (namely Cirie) and it luckily gone unmentioned. It was Wilf who pushed for her name which is ironic because she only went for Theo to keep the heat off of Wilf (also not the only time she’d saved him, I do think Wilf is got insanely lucky and wasn’t all that good for most of the game, though he still made plenty good moves)

100% Alyssa was better player at that point but she didn’t have the strength to deal with the pressure. So she likely would’ve followed Wilf out the door.

I never get when people say Fay played a good game. Her reads were not just all wrong but often complete nonsense and she just sort of fumbled through most of the game until she got murdered. Conversely, Kieran doesn’t get nearly enough credit for how good his faithful game was. He suspected Wilf but when he realised most other people didn’t, he kept quiet and stayed close to him. He was also the only faithful to suspect Amanda prior to the Theo banishment, and he came up with the strategy for him, Wilf, Hannah and Meryl to form an alliance near the end to take out Amanda and/or Aaron and make it to the end together as a voting block. Easily one of the best players.
Even better, once amanda was banished he still respected aaron and was understanding to him that amanda took him under her wing, so be understood that he was a blindsided faithful
He lost that status as soon as he threw the game and exposed Wilf when he was banished... No matter how good he played, he ruined all that for me when he acted like an INCREDIBLY sore loser...

Nothing wrong with voting for another traitor but he had it coming from Kieran cos retaliation is just as fair. Also Hannah said it was Wilf’s comment afterwards (about not talking to them again if they banish him) that made them convinced he was a traitor so really it was Wilf who did the most damage and played it all wrong in the end, and he had no one left to protect him.
I really enjoyed this but I would have put Andrea in "Did Pretty Well" because of the effort she put in when it came to the challenges. Bear in mind that was 72 when she took part and she just got stuck in, showing that age doesn't have to be a barrier when it comes to doing something amazing. Her effort and the way she conducted herself was the reason she lasted as long as she did. She made it inconceivable to everyone in the game that she could have been a traitor. I completely agree with you about John. The way he treated Aaron in particular was just disgusting.
Maddie in legendary is wild to me. I watched season 1 for the first time yesterday and idk but I could not get over how annoying her Aaron theory got, jumping through hoops trying to make it work, on 1 little interaction in the 1st round table. Clearly it built up a barrier between her, Aaron and later Meryl who she randomly decided was also a traitor with Aaron and Wilf. She wasnt picked as anyones 100% in the dinner party and made the bad decision of not taking the money and running. She got lucky to me, completely coasted by on getting 1/3 right, only getting voted off because the people she was honing in on for no reason finally could get a majority to boot her. I could be totally wrong in this opinion though.
Also her lying about being an actress but then to come out and just say it for no reason, no back against the wall. just a weird play as well. Not as bad as John on this front, because he was disgusting about it, but she did also imply Aaron was faking having the panic attack
I agree, she was so lucky to get Wilf right and was targeting him for all the wrong reasons. She was very single-minded and hyper-fixated on random people, she didn't listen to other players either

I think Meryl should be top of Meh got lucky, since she didn't have the foggiest till the very end and still went home with a bag of dosh. 100% Wilf and Maddie in Legendary, great players, and I loved that Wilf came out happy losing, contrary to the salty and bitter Aaron. Although this wasn't the best game in The Traitors history, it was my first time watching The Traitors.. it got me hooked!! Thanks for the ranking Ethan! Keep on ranting!!!
She also voted to end the game, even after Kieran's hint. If it weren't for Hannah and Aaron voting to banish again, she would have went home with nothing. So yeah, she definitely got lucky.
I recently watched and loved season 1. I liked most of the contestants, other than John (who turned nasty) and perhaps Tom (bit of ego there!). My favourite contestant was Maddie. Thought she was hilarious and dead certain of herself, and then fair play - admitted she'd been a bit useless 😂 Just a nice person overall. Will was great too. Started off being a bit to obvious, but took his role really well and was very clever. He would have won, had it not been for Kieran not being able to control his temper. Of the (initial) faithful, Kieran was the only one who was coming up with good hunches. He seemed to be able to pick up little vibes very well.
Il die on the hill that Wilf was absolutley screwed by a straight up rule break. Kieron outed him which is one of the core rules you're not aloud to do. Wilf should have won
I think kieran was just someone who was ruled by his emotions and was never going to be able to keep everything in, once he got voted out. I think it was a poor decision by will to recruit him and he should have either chosen his friend Hannah, or carried on alone.
Aaron’s play style was just like the winner of s2, s2 winner was playing as if he was dumb similar to Aaron who was pushed because he wasn’t aware traitors weee right under his nose Only difference was that s1 there was eyes on the final traitor whereas s2 only jaz and the other traitor knew it was s2 winner Apologise as I’ve forgotten there names 😂😂😂

If he hadn't gave Wilf away after he was banished, I think Wilf would have won, so I couldn't give him any higher than I gave him morally... Name me one thing Andrea did... Cause I just remember her apologising cause she had no idea THE ENTIRE TIME! The only reason she survived to E11 is because she was so beloved! I actually do agree with you when it comes to Aaron! He defended himself SO WELL! Also, Maddy was DEFO psychic because Keiran became a traitors, she was right about will and LBH Meryl was moving MAD SUS the entire time... Maddie does not deserve credit for guessing Wilf. She just guessed 3 names and stuck with them the whole way through. If you're guessing 3 people out of about 15, you're statistically likely to get at least one of them right.
I've not seen the Netflix version because I started it and it wasn't as good as the UK version sadly! Maybe I'll go back and watch the early seasons and react!
