  • In Why Aren’t We Awesomer?, I explain that the mind works more like a projector than a camera. In this new video, taken from The Advanced Course 2024, I go deeper into the awesome power of the principle of Thought and how it works.
(As a quick aside, this was the best -i.e. most accurate and impactful - job I’ve ever done of distinguishing the principle of Thought from the myriad positive and negative ways people use their thinking in day to day life. If you get to the story of the master artist hired by a king to create a painting that evoked the peace of the Buddha, I hope you’ll agree.)

Michael, you have this annoying habit of constantly amazing me. Every single time I listen to you, I have new perceptions of myself and the world around me. Thank you for your love, dedication, and care! ❤

Fantastic video! It touched my soul. Finally I could 'feel' what Thought stands for. Thanks Michael for this inspirational explanation!
FYI: "One of Coach Wooden's most well-known quotes is, “Make each day your masterpiece,” which is actually the third item in the list of “Seven Things to Do” given to Coach by his father."

I love how this understanding isn't at all an intellectual knowing but a deeper Knowing which lands really gently when we Listen beyond the personal. No agreement, no disagreement just a deep Listening and a gentle feeling.

The penny drops by knowing that you are always thinking. That voice that you aware of is with you from the moment you wake up till you knockout to sleep. You then need to remember that people and circumstances are not generating feelings in you as the primary source. It’s your thinking about said person or circumstance that is. Thinking/Feeling. BIGITIGI. EUREKA.

Another route to try is direct path meditation by Michael Langford. Thought lose its power over you over time. Its another route you can try than trying to figure it all out.
