I use it to commute in Delhi too. However, I am turning more into an Enduro kinda rider. All I want is a nice dual sport like the Honda CRF300L or if I am being a little too crazy, a Husqvarna FE450.

Back in 2010 on my visit to Kathmandu, I got a chance to ride a rented Honda XR on a trail in Shivapuri National park, its hilly and outside the valley. The bike just keeps climbing whether it was rocky stairs or obstacles without much effort, something I wouldn't imagine I could do before I actually did it. This day is etched in my mind and it is one of the things that comes to my mind very often. This is a highly recommended must try for you if you happen to be around and about Kathmandu. No comparison, but if you enjoy riding around the bushes near GF road, then this is next level with that amazing machine between your legs. You can thank me after you try it and cherish it for life.

I am staying at the same hotel as you had stayed. I couldn't make it to Manali and wanted to watch the F1 race so stopped in Banala. And I'm riding a 500 Classic. Although not the cast iron one this still makes me happy with the torque. But getting to Banala I was definitely thinking of getting a Himalayan or an XPulse. 👍

so there's this new Honda CB200x that's launched....it has almost same power as Xpulse but not very offroad friendly due to hornet link suspension travel. Now should one consider either of these two bikes or say Yamaha FZ25 that you were praising in this video? Himalayan I feel is very good and too over priced for it's performance (just my opinion)....My main usage will be within city and occasional long ride (not sure if it will offroad or not)...what's your recommendation....And where's the Honda Highness you had?
I have seen morons get crazy on their mom's activas riding it at 60 on Delhi roads 😂 and trying to race with bikers, like I saw this guy going crazy fast on his Scooty and then a guy with a cgt 650 overtakes him, he went crazy trying to catch up and on the next red light he said to the guy kitne ki bike hai ? The guy said 3 lakh+ , activa guy was like meri scooty 70 k ki hai fir bhi tough competition de rahi hai and then he said chalani aani chahiye as if cgt wala aur baki puri road pe khade sab log chutye hai and vo akela Marc Marquez ho 😂
We don't deserve bikes like CGT 650. People complain all the time time about wobbling and all, but I've seen so many westerners riding this machine just the way they should. Calm composed and at a constant pace, just enjoying the good 52Nm of torque band. Here in India, you'll see chapris with CGT revving the life out if that beautiful 650cc twin cyl engine, taking it to 130 or 140kmph and then they are complaining about wobble. But I think RE should have made the suspension stiffer like they should have made it way stiffer than what it is right now. And these scooter chapris are everywhere. Here in Kolkata they are picking up ntorqs at throw away price, mostly 2nd hand, or EMI, and trying to race with every dominars or every Cars that are are trying to pass them.
Video by video your bike is getting into shape. Wandering if the wheelbase can be increase...you know like replacing with a new longer swingarm. Just my thoughts.
I was just doing some comparison btwn DRz 400 and your Xpulse not with their engines but lookwise. The Suzuki looks a little longer.. overall. Without owning one the Xpulse is growing onto me.

They aren't dual sports. They are dirt bikes. Cannot be ridden on roads. If and when Kawasaki launches the KLX300, then we shall see. And yes, am waiting for the bigger XPulse and the Honda CRF300L.
