I miss when the Obj 263 was the tier 10, it was far more balanced and fun to play, it felt more nimble as well vs the V4. When they replaced my Obj 263 I was so upset because the V4 was just not enjoyable because of how broken it was and i never played it since.
I never liked this TD as I could never make it work. Seemed like you got focused, people can outflank you easily and the gun was OK. After the nerfs I just sold it. In the right hands it is still a formidable TD, but not in mine.
The latest news today has this wonderful Elite Level badge, that shows off to all your team mates how far you have progressed in the tank you are playing. Only trouble is the anonymiser turns it off! Perhaps they could have redrawn the Matchmaking program instead
The top speed nerf has gelded this stallion, but why nerf the SU100M1. You never saw packs of those marauding the battlefield, and it still has to face tier 9s. Even against itself 20mm less frontal armour takes a 50/50 down to a 95% certainty
I understand what you mean by the weakspot, but it might actually destroy the tank in general. I am rusty avg player and I don't do well at all with this tank and kinda have a hardtime feeling the power of it. I see videos how epic it is but it seems i cant replicate it, I got 18 games with 28%winrate The obj263 is far better teir for teir, and there I felt the power vs t9/t10. I got 64 games with 56% winrate. Anyway I still need a propper game session with this tank.
Tank being easy or hard to play has nothing to do with balance. I can't play ebrs properly, yet (especially) tier 10 is just broken. This thing was OP due to armor + speed combination, now it has only annoying armor. Imo they didn't need to nerf the mobility that much (slight neft might be needed, if it got into best positions too fast), instead making proper weakspot would do the trick while not taking fun from driving vehicle like crazy monkey.
I was planning to grid this and then the nerf hammer hit it hard... not grinding it anymore... yeh it was OP... but the nerfs make it not too useful for my aggressive play style... too bad... but good for the game...
Kinda like that big cross bar on the T29 that people thinks is a weak spot, but isn't. It looks so much like the bar on the Foch that they think it's a good target!
I don't understand the problem. Yes, platoons of 3 were shit, but everyone manages to pen this cupola with decent aim, even the lfp from 100 meters didnt seem to bother others. So it is strong, packs a punch, has shit aim time, can't snipe, has semi average cammo and every heavy can hit him. This thing vs a VZ? Bye bye v4. Vs an e5 or Super conq? DPM is shit. Even against paper tier 9 meds this thing has trouble the moment it gets tracked, which you will be since you are driving near the front..... The higher wr was due to platooning imho...
Glad you don't feel that it is unbalanced. But one of them ramming and face-hugging you you will be shooting upwards as vz and the game is different. A platoon of them, cancer... But I agree that nerfing tech tree tanks is not the way to go for the game, there are far worse less attainable tanks that throw a wrench to the "balance"
Of course it figures my Bobject has a 60% win rate over 80 some battles since I got it a few weeks ago, a few days BEFORE the nerfing. And I haven't had a chance to drive it since the nerfhammer came down on it. Was desperately trying to finish and finally got the Jpz100 from the Grind the day before September On Track ended.... by far my Bobject has my highest average damage and win rate. But that was from bullying and ramming people before the nerf.
The K-91-pt still plays the same, which you can get from the Battlepass tokens, (9), insane speed, very high rotation speed, and a derpy gun. But you do get a free large repair kit, so if you just want to go ramming once in a while it can be hilarious.
@@ohgord-qc3qdI have had the K-91PT for a while and it is fun how mobile it is and how fast it can spin around it's own axis as needed. It feels jittery in a way it spins so fast and yeah it can bully some tanks too.
KRV used to be good, and they nerfed it, and KRV became one of the worst performing T10 hts. 268/4 is fine before since it's already nerfed. Now it' one of the worst performing t10. If we exclude the platoons, the performance would be even worse. I mean no one actually play this any longer. No one ever praise Wg for balancing. Took forever to nerf Chief and 279, never solve the 176 problem, nerf t95 e3 p65 for no fking reason, yet cc lion is in every aspect better than p65. Ever since the grille15 nerf I lost my trust in WG, even more so lately. Ruining all the good things and introduce loot boxes, gambling and never listen to their players.

This nerf was not needed. STOP nerfing tech tree tanks their the only one's to fight against OP premiums with, but it's how WG get's new players to buy premium tanks. The top speed was nerfed from 50kph to 40 kph...it's NOT the same tank.

All of the tanks in the line have guns that have bad dispersion, but when you get to the IS-3 you have the choice of the object 277, which a lot of people prefer. You can have games where you bounce everything, and games where you will not hit anything. The Churchill 111 (premium) is worth getting, because of the crew training, which is extremely high and will help get your crews trained way faster than any other tank@@AdityaKumar-fy1nu
So many crying v4 fans in the comments. I can understand, why people loved it, but you guys must admit how toxic and painful this tank is to play against. If you are not playing versus bots or people who left their pc, hitting weak spots is a nightmare, because they wiggle like crazy. Plus, lower plate is so, so tiny and trollish. Even shooting the side of the super structure might result in a bounce. Overall, there is a serious design issue with this tank: very strong armor and decent mobility (even after the nerf, 45 km/h come on, it's still good, it is reaching medium territory, 50 and 55 with turbo is just dumb, it was the same or even faster than mediums. Sure, it became more bulky but still it is much more nibble than e3 or jpz 100 and good portion of heavies). Relying heavily on close range play style, the gun and dpm are kinda irrelevant, however, both are good enough for such armored td (or you would rather have 3600+ dpm with 0.3 accuracy?). v4, e3 279e they all have insane armor without weak spots that could be penned reliably. They could've been fixed without changing stats and armor layout by making maps less corridor and hull down oriented,, but that is a substantial change that requires a lot of effort. Also, I saw complains that tech tree tanks should not ever be nerfed but that is utterly insane. All tanks, before they enter the game are tested and adjusted, so they are already "nefed" or "buffed". Some of them, however, were not tested properly, or they got super buff like amx m4 did in the past and they should be changed. WoT is a MMO game, every mmo has meta which is shifting until the servers are down and the game is dead or until the time an almost perfect balance is reached. m4 nerfs were too harsh, they should've either make dispersion on the move 0.14 with 2.3 aiming time instead of 0.16 and 2.5 respectively or return the 40 km/h top speed (for tier 8 and 9 as well) with gun handling that we have today. Anyway, it was over-performing, so the nerf was needed. Same with vz55. It was insanely powerful. They changed it nicely without touching the core gameplay: ht mt hybrid with good speed, decent armor and burst potential. It is more balanced now, but still a very nice tank, I played it on the test server, and even with a single shot gun it could do 4k with ease. I've played v4 after the changes and it is still strong, as Max has shown in the video
