Everyone remembers where they where on 9/11. Thanks for bringing us that, somewhere we'll probably never visit, but would love to. Just wish we could all live in peace and tolerance. ❤️
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Something that struck us when we were there was the number of visitors who were too young to remember 9/11. We wondered what they felt. Thanks for watching N&Nx
A very moving visit to the 9/11 memorial. We were on holiday in Majorca on that day and couldn’t believe what we were hearing from other tourists until we saw it on the TV in the hotel later. We had actually been up to the top of the World Trade Centre when we visited New York in 1999. Thanks for sharing your travels ❤
My friends, your emotion made me cry. I was in New York City in 2001, at the end of April, for the first three days of my honeymoon and one of the things I absolutely wanted to do was go up the Twin Towers. And we did it. And I still remember that visit in every detail and the emotion I felt when I got out of the elevator where the view of all that wonder immediately opened up. As well as the indelible memory of the people in the shops up there, with whom I spoke and shared brief moments, but who, with everything that happened afterwards, remained imprinted in my memory and in my heart. When I return to NYC and I will, sooner or later, because I have loved this city since I was a child, I will not be able to help but visit this Memorial. It is essential. It is impossible not to be moved, not to feel a deep emotion, like the one I saw in your eyes and heard from your broken voice. Friends, thank you, for these moments and thank you also for everything you showed me of New York. I felt like I was there with you and sharing the joy of being in this unique city. When I saw the Brooklyn Bridge for the first time I was right where you were and I had the same feeling...WOW, I'm here, in front of the Brooklyn Bridge! Just unforegettable moments. Friends, I hug you tight and leave you my like. Have a joyful and relaxing weekend. Cheers from Italy. Renata
@@renatalimarzi Bless you so much. What a wonderful thing to read. Thanks for sharing your NYC experience with us. Yes, we agree that the museum is an essential part of our trip. Thanks for your continued support. When we're confident with our new campervan, Italy is on our bucket list. Where abouts are you? N&Nx
@grapesodatravels Hello, my friends!! Oh, I'm born and live in Milan!! Hope we can take a coffee together when you come in my city! So many beautiful things to do and enjoy. An enchanting mix of history and modernity! You Will love it as well as Italy! Big embrace and all the best, my friends! Renata
The table of love sculpture is lovely. Another day of glorious weather to roam and explore. A cheeky beer has to be done .. Enjoyed all the history…. The 9/11 memorial is a truly moving place and. It’s good you felt able to visit and pay your respects. And really well put across in this video. Thank you ..
Good fun video. There is another 'Table of Love' statue by Paddington Station, London, with an unusual clock as well. Good to see enjoying the local foods.
Great tour guys. Soo jealous. We really need to save up and broaden our horizons. Unfortunately. Money stops us. Enjoyed seeing New York through your eyes.
Morning guys Definitely feel like you need to visit the memorial whilst you're there. Very moving Everyone remembers where they were on the 11th of September Enjoying your videos from New York Hope you're having a good week ❤
Loving your NYC travels guys, you have brought back some wonderful memories and you've been to some places we have just missed! I'm thinking we need a revisit! Kind regards, Simon and Elaine
Hi Guys loved seeing New York through your eyes! That was one of our first trips away to watch the ball drop on our first new years together many moons ago! Our dream is to revisit for the thanksgiving day parade but sadly it won’t be anytime soon! Thanks for another great video 👍❤️
@@GENerationXplorers we use the British Airways AMEX card to save avios points. I still can believe how cheap our flights were! Thanks for watching, guys! N&Nx
Great vlog guys ❤ I’ve never actually seen the 9/11 memorial so was really interesting to see. I could feel the emotion of it without being there 😢 think everyone will be back to where they were watching the nightmare unfold all those years ago. Thanks for sharing with us all ❤❤
Great video and especially the 9/11 memorial, you can’t help but shed a few tears - memories and emotions that you can never get used to. On a more upbeat note, in the future, if you get the chance to take one of those helicopter trips it’s a fab experience ❤
We're loving your New York adventures and will definitely be referrring to these videos when we plan our trip. You saw some really cool stuff! I think Wills would be most impressed with the ghostbusters head quarters!! We've both been to New York, but not together. When I was there the twin towers stood, when Wills went, they didn't. You did an excellent job of bringing across the mood and feel of the 9/11 story. It's somewhere that we feel we just visit too. Cheers 🍻
Thanks for sharing this tricky day with us. The museum and memorial are deeply moving. What do you remember of that awful day? N&Nx
