Hi Yulia from Massachusetts, I’ve been wondering if you still have that chipper machine for home gardeners to feed small branches or sticks through, it’s been a few years since you introduced it on your channel , at least I think it was you 😂, if yes could you tell about how it has been working out for you in a video?
As I don’t have much room to plant dahlias I put some in pots and at that time inserted a tomato cage. It’s so much easier to stake, especially one where the stalk has reached past the first level to my house! Your dahlia variety is beautiful! 🌸❤️🇨🇦

Thanks for the dahlia tour. I’m not havIng a great year for dahlias. I think I just didn’t keep up with the watering and we were so dry. Taking notes for some I’d love to try. I picked up a few bags of tulips and allium at Costco the other day. Crazy that it’s almost time for those!
I always learn so much from you. Color theory, cutting flowers to see how they play with others and taking pictures. What a great idea! You’re sweet to grow flowers your husband likes, not necessarily your favorites, and yet you know how to make it all work together. Love it!
Maybe you should consider a small greenhouse in the area where the tree had to be removed? I can imagine it would be a great place for the fig to overwinter. Plus you start so many things from seed. It would look lovely surrounded by a cottage garden!!

Whoever invented this tape staple machine needs to run for office. I mean its 2023 and we can fly to the damn moon but we still have to get outside of the vehicle to pump gas-o-line. 😂 We need practical solutions people. Not super computer chip implants and ad driven algorithms.
Beautiful Dahlias. Love the tip at the end about taking cuttings (and pictures) to see if they go well with other plants.! Also, not to run and and buy cool tool, if you don't have a lot of staking!
I also missed the ideal moment to stake my dahlias, but I don't like having stakes visible earlier in the season! Thanks for the tips and inspiration.
Yup. My dahlias are lying on the ground. It’s kinda hopeless. I just want them to produce more tubers and I’ll do a better job next year. 😢

@@jenniferchu9833 I use a good quality potting soil. I also mix in a bit of compost at the bottom.

I would love a greenhouse! I am afraid it will get really hot in that spot tho, but I have a lot of shady spots where it can go. One day 😊
