Treddon (the character being leaned on by Foxy in the original animation) actually says a very similar line to what you quoted when introducing himself as well. Maybe a reference from the Scarlet Study team?

I still think one of my favourite moments in any case is during the second case of the first game. Youre in such a high stress situation and it feels that there isn't anything you can do. I was playing with my boyfriend so he proposed that I look around the room for a clue so I do. And when i turn around, i see Herlock Sholmes hanging off a bloody coat hanger. I was genuinely on the floor for the next five minutes, laughing so hard that i feared i wouldn't stop. That's what solidified Sholmes as one of my favourite ace Attorney characters ever.
