Is there a chance you could make a video showing where that part is by chance?

I have a 2015 Escape 2.0. Are both Wastegate ( one on the top of the engine and one below the turbocharger) the same part number? I am unable to get the wastegate solenoid part number for one placed at the turbocharger.

This part is actually called "boost pressure control solenoid". Symptoms of a failed condition are intermittent hesitation during moderate/hard acceleration. Failure doesn't always produce a code from the ECM but will definitely result in noticeable performance issues.

It could be name that, but the information for that part was given to us by the Ford part department themselves so we will will not change the name of the part when we do the video

@@leaderautoofficial6240 that's the name of the part, regardless of what the idiots at FORD call it.

I have a problem when I accelerate I try to maintain a speed of 35 to 55 mph, the rpm goes up suddenly for less than a second and then stays stable, but within minutes it does that change of rpm again, changing this valve will it solve?

@@davided.9892 that doesn't sound like the pressure control solenoid. Have you changed your transmission fluid?

Great information, buuuuut we ( as the collective internet) miss our sultry bearded ginger in the snap-on jacket. I cannot in good conscience smash that like button without the promise of at least 1 new ginger video a week.

    Hello, very good, a question!
I have a 2015 ford escape 2.0 turbo engine, it gives me fault code p0299, the turbo pressure is not within the expected range. Well the following happens when the car just used it, the sound of the turbo is strong and you feel power, after a while the sound of the turbo goes down and therefore the power goes down and from there it marks the code p0299, but if I turn off the car and I turn it on again, the turbo pressure rises again, I put an elm327 scanner and I could appreciate the turbo psi, when the turbo works normal it raises up to 9.1 psi but when it starts to fail it only reaches 3.9 psi, it is rare that in the moment it is failing I just turn off the car, turn it on again and raise the turbo normal pressure again. You know I could check some selonoid valve or something?
