- See what Royal Caribbean's food offerings at the Windjammer Buffet for dinners aboard their smaller cruise ships. We thought the selection and variation were very good, and we show you which items are available nightly (or just about) and which are once a cruise. There were special theme nights which included Mexican, Italian, and Caribbean. It was a Valentine's Day cruise as well so they had some nice decorations and food just for the occasion.
Some of our favorites included:
• Custom Mongolian Wok Stir Fry Station (they had it twice during the cruise)
• Stir-Fried Shrimp
• Duck a la Orange with Cointreau Sauce
• Oxtail Stew
• Pepper Pot Soup
• Caribbean Beef Patties
• Sheera

I ate so much at the buffet one day for lunch and dinner...could not eat till the next night dinner! Buffets are the best and the worse at the same time...lol!

Wow, the ship has a great variety of food. The cruise line definitely knows their customers- lots of American food and Tex-Mex dishes. I miss cruising so much but don’t think any cruise sealing out for the next few months. Meanwhile, I’ll be enjoying your videos until we can go on cruises again.😜
The variety was very good for sure, and they were mindful of the taste of the cruisers who were mostly from Texas. Hopefully cruises will back back sooner than later- thanks for commenting!

@@TravelTouristVideos Could you think about adding in a kind of Review / Rating system. i.e. perhaps you could give a nightly score for each nightly Buffet say 9 out of 10 etc and then give an overall Dinning revue score for the entire voyage overall ie 8 out 10 etc. That way we could score and compare your videos. Possibly adding it into the videos or just adding the score into the comments might be a start.
Thanks- that's a good idea! We'll see what we can do with a scoring/rating system. Sometimes it's tough because it's usually pretty good, so it may be something more like "Excellent", "Very Good" or "meh".

You sure can go to both, though probably would want to go to the main dining room as early as you can so you have time to go to buffet and the show 🙂

I really enjoyed your food videos. Makes excited about my Odyssey cruise in April. Just one question though. Which might do they serve sushi at the buffet?
They do not serve sushi at the buffet, though have a specialty restaurant called Izumi that has pretty good Japanese food. Thanks for the question! 🙂

Do you have a recommendation for a Alaskan cruise line I'm 77 my wife 72 in pretty good shape. We don't want a lot of small children to have to dodge.
During summer there will be a lot of kids on all the lines, though Holland America, Princess & Celebrity are the major cruise lines that will have a fewer. Thanks for the question!

So any Royal Caribbean cruise is same? Because I have a plans go next year but some people said cruise from Baltimore is smaller and not that much stuff like this😢 anybody give me advice pls
They are pretty similar from our experience- the larger ships do have more dining options, but overall the buffet food aren't very different from ship to ship. This was actually from a "small" Royal ship, the Enchantment of the Seas.

All lovely Jamaican food....but somehow I doubt that the chefs on those cruisers can make the food taste as nice as it does in Jamaica....so I'll skip the cruise!

What fascinated me are the (vast) differences in quality in offerings of a luxury cruise brand like "Silversea" and regular cruise brands like "Carnival" and "Royal Caribbean" .. as well as the difference in quality of clientele.

Well, some of us love the critic that she is. You can ALWAYS move on to the next video. We love Royal Caribbean cruise cruises and we love watching her give us her opinions.
