When this show came on My mom used to turn up the TV while I was laying in the bed trying to go to sleep... I would stick my head under my covers and plug my ears..... She knew I was absolutely terrified of this theme song....still gives me chills till this day

I found out about X Files back in January when it came back. I never heard of it until then but I watched the series and loved it and the theme. For my birthday I had not only series 10 on DVD but series 1-9 and the two movies in a set on DVD. X Files is my ultimate favorite television series ever and I want more X Files on television. I LOVED the x-files as a kid, even if the melody creeped me out, and I kid you not, when my family and I were on our way home from relatives (in Serbia in a village), that melody (whole song) came on the radio right when we passed the cemetery at the end of the village, the moon was full and lightning up the gravestones, I cant even begin to describe what a feeling that was 😮

While I was working on my PhD, I lived next door to a single mom and her two teenage kids and that family watched the X-Files DVDs pretty much every day for the 4 years I lived there. Whenever I opened my windows or walked out my front door, there was a pretty good chance that I was going to hear this music coming from their place.
