Top 10 Things that F1 2018 needs. 1. Rear wings to be broken. 2. Drive into your pitbox. 3. Different kinds of failures, brakes, engine etc. (Optional) 4. Interviews where you can choose which optional statement you speak which changes your career. 5. Custom Helmet Designs, Podium Celebrations etc. 6. Bring back the Young Drivers Test. 7. Red Flags 8. More realistic crashes, fires, run over debris to damage car etc. 9. Too bee able to drive your broken cars off the track (after engine failure, wheel come off) to retire. 10. To flat-spot tires, lock ups to be shown more in depth. Please Codemasters putt all these in F1 2018 it'll be amazing. Like if you agree.
W3RREB How about a story mode like Hunter in FIFA? Like going through the ranks of Formula 3 and/or gp2? Unlocking traits and bonus features everytime you get complete or exceed objectives? Or is it too much to hope?
Edgie Braahhh What's the point? It's meant to be a challenge climbing up the ranks in F1. But, whatever. If it makes you feel better to be in a clearly faster car against A.I. on a video game then it doesn't matter to me.
Dylzaa, Yeah, Magny Cours would be awesome! The Onboards of the 2007-08 era cars are crazy fast through the corners, and those older era of cars have NO downforce compared to the current 2018 cars. Can’t wait!
Racing Line Australia Yeah my favourite track till today. This long straights throught the forest and the sound of the cars that the time were just incredible.
I’m not a fan of the Halo and sometimes think f1 is boring in real life but I love codemasters and f1 games so of course I’ll pre order it. F1 2010 still my favourite :)
yep that crash in f2 was really dangerous, so the halo as already did the job it was made for :D...also I dont mind the look, I think the cars look way better with the halo xD
Love to see the FOM graphics be integrated to the game. Classic cars I'd love to see are: - McLaren MP4-26 (2011) - Brawn BGP 001 (2009) - Toyota TF109 (2009) - BMW Sauber F1.08 (2008) - Honda RA106 (2006) - McLaren MP4-20 (2005) - Renault R25 (2005) - BAR 006 (2004) - Williams FW25 (2003) - Jordan 199 (1999) - Ferrari F300 (1998) - Benetton B194 (1994) - Ferrari 641 (1990) Just for fun: - Lola T97-30 (1997) - Virgin VR-01 (2010) - Hispania F111 (2011) - Caterham CT-03 (2013) "Classic" Tracks: Istanbul, Imola, Nürburgring, Buddh, Korea, Valencia, Magny-Cours, Jerez, Estoril, Brand Hatch, Indianapolis, and Fuji
Daniel Phillips how can anyone claim to be a f1 fan and not care about the true classic stuff... way better than seeing Schumacher win every race for 5 years
I would love that we could have a recreation event, living you in a certain situation with a goal to achieve coping an iconic race, for example: they give you Button 2011 McLaren when he was last at Canada and you need to achieve what happened in real live, win the race, got a podium, etc
I really hope they work on the damage system, especially on things like punctures, sideboard or even floor damages. Also of course damagable rear wheels...
Things I want - On/off option for the halo - Jerez testing in career and multiplayer seasons - I would love an open paddock that you could walk around in career.
I hope more classic cars from same era, like 2003 williams/mclaren/ferrari 1999 mclaren/ferrari/jordan 2005 renault/mclaren 1994 williams/benetton It would be fun if some day there is f1 game where you can drive many different classic seasons with old rules
Daniel Farmer they won’t because there isn’t a 1994 Williams it got destroyed by Williams after it was returned from sennas death so even if they will add it in the handling will not fell the same as the actual car
Why not some mid tier classic cars? Jaguar, Toyota, Jordan.... Maybe some older ones like the 6 wheels Tyrell. Maybe some Aflas since the brand is back. Also make some damn driver transfers already. There should be ai driver movement too.
that's what i'm talking about!not only championship-winning cars,it would be actually great if they put some backmarckers such as minardi, marussia, caterham,HRT,and all that,it would be great
New Classic Cars that I would like in F1 2018 : 2005 BMW Williams or McLaren 2012 or 2013 Lotus 2009 Brawn GP 1990 Ferrari 1994 Benetton Features : Interviews with the press New contract system (like F1 2005/06) I would appreciate more invitational events An option to save the photos you take in game Coop Career (maybe in F1 2019 cause I imagine it is a little bit difficult to develop) Real names from the drivers from the classic cars (like F1 2013 had) Return of the Young Drivers Test (it is a little bit boring to have the opportunity to start your career with Mercedes, Ferrari or Red Bull Pre Season testing to earn resource points for the upcoming season and to get used to the cars performance Driver Skill Level (like MotoGP have, for example that Ricciardo is the best on the brakes) It would be pretty cool if your rival really tries to put you down, maybe dive into you a lot more in the corners or saying something bad about you in the press conference More dynamic comentators (like in F1 2005) so that they are telling you who's out of the Grand Prix or running down the Top 10 MAKE JEFF GO AWAY !!!
Hopefully We Can Get Maybe A Classic Season Mode When There's A Random Selection Of Past Seasons With All The Drivers From That Year With Those Cars! (And Tracks)
When I saw your last video on F1 2006, I remembered playing it back in the day and how challenging it was. I love the idea of spending a part of the first year as a test driver, and I think it's time now to input a story behind it, like they've been doing in the 2K series for Basketball for the past few years.
I also believe that to be able to choose to go to ferrari/merc/RBR for the first season of career mode is a shame, there's the championship mode if you want to drive in a top team car to begin with...
Classic cars that we need in F12018 Brawn GP - 2009 Benneton - 1995 6 wheel tyrell Maybe add the best car (WCC winner) from every year (at least every year after 1990).. 🤔 Any other cars we need? Reply to my comment ⬇️
They HAVE TO bring back classic tracks. Imola, Jerez, Adelaide, Istanbul Park, Buenos Aires, Estoril, Brands Hatch, Fuji, Watkins Glenn, both original layouts of Interlagos and Hockenheimring, as well as the Nurburgring GP (even if it’s Hockenheim in ‘18). Did I forget any?
Got a feeling they're going to do classic car scenarios. Title rivalries like Hakkinen vs Schumacher 2000, Schumacher vs Hill 94/95, Vettel vs Alonso vs Hamilton vs Webber 2010, Lauda vs Hunt etc. Think that'd be cool. Get to choose either car from a rivalry and drive it. Think it's a good step from last year
I'd love to see a completely new system like a manager system. You become the manager of your team. Create your car liveries and helmets, and use funding to scout drivers. Like in fifa, you'd be able to race as your drivers if you wish.
How about testing days, making it more realistic and make race pace a lot different than qualifying, because now the race pace is close to the qualifying pace, so more tire degradation, more fuel saving, etc. And no weird ass setups, trying to run this kind of setup in a real sim racing game or real life won’t work... and how about PR events, and not the one where you have to beat a challenge, but one where you have to drive around, doing donuts in classic cars in cities
I hope the engine sounds of the 2018 cars will be better than last years cars. The Ferrari was still using the sound files for the 2015 engine. I hope Codies will have recorded at least a 2016 engine so it sounds a bit more modern.
I didn't mind the new F1 logo from its official release. But that 2018 is an eyesore, and stuff like that doesn't usually grow on me. Excited for the new stuff!
My 3 main points would be: 1. Classic tracks. It's nice to have all those classic cars, but I think we also need some classic tracks so that we could fully immerse into the times (like Magny-Cours, a.k.a. 2007-2008; Turkey/Korea, a.k.a. 2010; Imola, a.k.a. 2006; even old Silverstone, a.k.a. pre 2009... etc.). Tracks from previous games would work also (like India or Nurburgring). Helps with replayability value AND online value. 2. More layouts where available. It was a good idea with different layouts in F1 2017, but I'd like this idea to be expanded on this year ("old" Spain layout, shorter Hockenheim, shorter China, shorter Abu Dhabi etc.). 3. Testing It is pretty important in real life, where teams try out some updates/changes, so why it is not in the game - I don't understand. Testing would reward you with R&D points, and also you could get "objectives", which will reward you with: faster upgrade, bonus resource points, nothing, failed upgrade (partial or full) or lost R&D points.
With regards the halo if they do it as a solid 3d object it’ll cover too much of an area. To explain this better: hold your arm up vertically before your face about a foot away. See how your left and right eyes look around it to a certain extent making it appear a lot thinner. This wouldn’t be a problem in vr as it’d be the same as real life. So what to do? IMO two choices: either make it very thin OR allow a level of transparency.
Even though it wasn't a championship winning car, it was definitely extraordinarily fast, the 2005 mclaren mp4-20 driven by Raikkonen and Montoya. I think they should consider it at least as it was far quicker than all of the cars on the grid.
What I would like is a full classic season. I think the fans could vote for their favorite season and all the tracks and cars from that season would be playable in game
Hope It's like Fifa: The Journey, like anything you say/do can affect your progression in career, like what teams you go to, or how you interact with mechanics or engineers on your team
More classic cars could also mean the bear bones racecars of the 1960's, like the Lotus 49, weird cars like the Tyrrell P34 or the Brabham fan car, the Lotus 96T could be in there as well since it made such a major impact to the sport
There should be unique cutscenes for different people depending what questions you answer in the press (Your background to racing, personal things, contracts) there should be 100+ cutscenes
I always love the F1 cars from the 2000's era, and my two big wishes are definitely the championship winning Brawn from 2009 and Kimi's 2005 McLaren. I'd much rather see more cars from the years we already have covered in F1 2017 to make up a more diverse but even grid for classic races, like championship rivals or unique cars that wound up overachieving in the constructors championship, than just having the winning car of every year. Would love to see the BMW's, the earliest Red Bulls, the BAR Honda's, Toyotas, etc etc.
It would be so nice if they added all the season they already made. I mean they have the cars and models of every season since 2010, they just need to update the graphics. Then you could progress through from 2010 to 2018. But they probably don't have the license for that and it would be a lot of work, but it's better to use the models they already have and update them than to make cars up from scratch. Also they could add tracks like turkey or the Nürburgring GP and so on.
Even greater depth career mode has me intrigued and ready with my blank signed cheque! What would be nice, if they are putting more historical cars in the game, put some of the historical tracks in the game as well. Oh, you got Mansell's '92 Williams well here is Estoril from that year or would you like to blast around classic Monaco in Senna's John Player Special But looking forward to this already, the channel will have to be prepped and ready........and cleared from F1 2017 and NASCAR Heat 2 lol
Wish there would be the feature to create your own team and rise it from the back to the top. I would also like to see the feature of the whole career beginning in F3 and going through F2 to finally F1. would also be a great thing to add I think
I am really hoping for classic tracks in the game, seems normal driving a classic car on a classic track. And like you said the press stuff, man I would love to see that back!! Also would like to see that the player can have reliability issues as well, they improved this year with wear but now we only failures and shit. For the rest awesome vid like always ;)
They should add a red zone, like in Motorsport manager, that gives a percentage chance of a random failure, rather than it happening with no warning, and it would also add more to the rnd for reliability
Hopefully we can select whatever team we want when we start the career. People seem to dislike that you can select the best car at the beggining, but i want to start with Ferrari this next game.
Add more weight to the cars. I understand they are not supposed to be easy to drive but the cars usually feel to slippy-slidy especially in breaking zones like on 2016. And the wet racing can be improved by making the cars less snappy between accelerating and braking.
I know it sounds dumb, but multiplayer carrer mode would be awesome. Make it so that you can upgrade cars throughout the season, get new contracts, etc, for 2-20 players.
Niki Lauda's Ferrari James Hunt's Mclaren Senna's Lotus (although it was in 2014) The four rear tyre Tyrrell (I know it's not a championship winning car, but it's still iconic)
one thing i do miss, is rear wing damage, when i was playing the old f1's i remember breaking quite a few haha, i know it may be pushing it slightly, but i say they should add a ' refueling ' option, so, like in the proper days of f1, you didnt have to carry so much fuel. also, again, i might be pushing it, but ai health, as in, for example, i t-bone a driver, if the health reaches a certain point, because of the crash, , they go into hospital for a few races n the teams reserve driver comes on grid, obviously the original drivers health resets either each race or when they come out of hospital another good thing to add would be f1 legends, like Schumacher, senna, prost ect
MY PREDICTIONS: New features: Press conferences, pre season testing. Classic cars: Brawn BGP 001, Mercedes W05, Mercedes W07. I think they should bring classic tracks into the game, too. Things I think will make the game better: REAR WING DAMAGE, suspension damage, bargeboard damage. Debris can take to the sky and will be able to HIT YOUR HALO so the game doesn't seem too boring with the halo added this year. Opinions?
You know what I would like, You could start in a certain year. lets say 2001. And every season you pass 1 year passes. So each massive change in F1 that happenend on set year also happens in game. So you start with the 2001 cars. and in the end with the 2018.
What about a pre-/mid-season testing for the career mode? This could be used to gather resource points, for example by reaching targets (do so many overtakes, reach a certain top speed, set a lap time or even a time for a combination of turns). Another idea could be to actually test drive new upgrades. Improve on your previous performance on a test track (each team should have a test track) and the upgrade will be successful. I don't like that in F1 2017 one has to spend resource points on reliability of upgrades. The player should have control of upgrade reliability.
Top 10 Things that F1 2018 needs.
1. Rear wings to be broken.
2. Drive into your pitbox.
3. Different kinds of failures, brakes, engine etc. (Optional)
4. Interviews where you can choose which optional statement you speak which changes your career.
5. Custom Helmet Designs, Podium Celebrations etc.
6. Bring back the Young Drivers Test.
7. Red Flags
I agree. But you can't call it a top ten without
Number one : fix the damn multiplayer mode
W3RREB How about a story mode like Hunter in FIFA?
Like going through the ranks of Formula 3 and/or gp2?
Unlocking traits and bonus features everytime you get complete or exceed objectives?
Or is it too much to hope?
Perfect game there
Yes
There should be failures in the player's car as well as now it is only in the ai cars...
Schumacher's Benetton needs to be in the game
Dynamo 458 oh yes
Dynamo 458 fact
Maybe even the 1950 Alfa Romeo
Akseli Janhunen yeah, the other classic cars with tc irl also do...
Thats a good one, but they also need to add the Montoya 2003 Williams BMW
"Greater career depth". It'll be the exact same with a newspaper clipping after race then...
Jimmy O Sullivan Of course! What they need to work on is the handling model of the cars. And stop allowing players to jump straight into top teams.
Jimmy O Sullivan Just like F1 2006! 😅
Alijah And podium celebrations with national anthems
Alijah Why do you care when people choose a good Team early on in an Offline mode
Edgie Braahhh What's the point? It's meant to be a challenge climbing up the ranks in F1. But, whatever. If it makes you feel better to be in a clearly faster car against A.I. on a video game then it doesn't matter to me.
I Hope They Add The Six-Wheel Tyrell.
split screen back
Seppo_ gaming Difficult to implement with the heavyloaded graphics of current games, feel like we won't get it :(
Angelo Pepa i watched a interview where lee mather said that they are trying to include split screen but they cant due to the graphics
Angelo Pepa Just lower the graphics in split screen like it has always been.
I hope they add classic tracks like mangy cours and imola
Dylzaa, Yeah, Magny Cours would be awesome! The Onboards of the 2007-08 era cars are crazy fast through the corners, and those older era of cars have NO downforce compared to the current 2018 cars. Can’t wait!
Old Hockenheim!
Dylzaa I thought the magny cours is on this years race plan
It is!
edit: Paul Ricard not Magny
Racing Line Australia Yeah my favourite track till today. This long straights throught the forest and the sound of the cars that the time were just incredible.
Hopefuly classic tracks like Imola Istambul and so on
I’m not a fan of the Halo and sometimes think f1 is boring in real life but I love codemasters and f1 games so of course I’ll pre order it. F1 2010 still my favourite :)
You dont have to like the halo, but it has saved lives already
the halo imo is a necessary evil. something the we will have to get used to seeing.
yep that crash in f2 was really dangerous, so the halo as already did the job it was made for :D...also I dont mind the look, I think the cars look way better with the halo xD
Adrián González wat? of course it saved his life, but the car looks waaaay worse with this stick.
Adam Thompson My personal favorite F1 game was F1 2012
Love to see the FOM graphics be integrated to the game.
Classic cars I'd love to see are:
- McLaren MP4-26 (2011)
- Brawn BGP 001 (2009)
- Toyota TF109 (2009)
- BMW Sauber F1.08 (2008)
- Honda RA106 (2006)
- McLaren MP4-20 (2005)
- Renault R25 (2005)
- BAR 006 (2004)
- Williams FW25 (2003)
- Jordan 199 (1999)
- Ferrari F300 (1998)
- Benetton B194 (1994)
- Ferrari 641 (1990)
Just for fun:
- Lola T97-30 (1997)
- Virgin VR-01 (2010)
- Hispania F111 (2011)
- Caterham CT-03 (2013)
"Classic" Tracks: Istanbul, Imola, Nürburgring, Buddh, Korea, Valencia, Magny-Cours, Jerez, Estoril, Brand Hatch, Indianapolis, and Fuji
SGT EpicSpeed you nailed it :)
You realised f1 existed before the 2000’s right?
Well maybe he's a 90's kid and don't care much for old school racing.;
Agreed on brands hatch.
Daniel Phillips how can anyone claim to be a f1 fan and not care about the true classic stuff...
way better than seeing Schumacher win every race for 5 years
Never clicked into a video as fast
Dynamo 458 Nor been so disappointed 2 minutes later. A bloke reading out a press release... woo.
I would love that we could have a recreation event, living you in a certain situation with a goal to achieve coping an iconic race, for example: they give you Button 2011 McLaren when he was last at Canada and you need to achieve what happened in real live, win the race, got a podium, etc
Maybe not with the exact cars (you then have to license the entire grid of that season) but I would like to have a recreation of classic moments in F1
Championship Season can kind of replicate that, albeit not exactly like RL
holy shit what a great idea
motogp did that years ago and still icensed all bikes
They should add more cars from the earlier generations, like the Lotus 49 etc
1976 Ferrari and McLaren (Lauda vs Hunt)
LJF Logan this, plus some classic tracks for them to race on.
ShaqFuGuru good idea, like on F1 2013 Classic Edition where they had Brands Hatch, Imola etc
All 2001 Cars
loving the f1 2010 music on the background there
As a cockpit cam user, I cannot wait to see what the halo is going to be like
ThatGuyS1eepy it's gonna look awful, trust me.
Bjay _23 even if it is awful I'll still have it on
Your Profile Picture is From MiniDrivers. The Tribute To Jules Bianchi. #ForzaJules
I can see it now for me turn 1 in Australia I'm gonna be in the barriers
I really hope they work on the damage system, especially on things like punctures, sideboard or even floor damages. Also of course damagable rear wheels...
and rear wings
Things I want
- On/off option for the halo
- Jerez testing in career and multiplayer seasons
- I would love an open paddock that you could walk around in career.
We need split screen!
1995 benetton driven by michael schumacher has to be in there.
One of the most iconic cars of the 90s in my opinion.
Would there be an ON/OFF HALO switch
Invisible Mammal lol
No cause sponsors are put on the halo
Jamie D *mods* xD I wouldnt care about sponsors
J C I’m a console peasant 😭
Jamie D im A pc Gamer But only rfactor Because specs are Terrible
Should be interesting to see what actually does change, enjoyed 2017 after not having played the game for quite a few years!
I hope more classic cars from same era, like
2003 williams/mclaren/ferrari
1999 mclaren/ferrari/jordan
2005 renault/mclaren
1994 williams/benetton
It would be fun if some day there is f1 game where you can drive many different classic seasons with old rules
Eino Jauhiainen 99 Jordan is a good one
Eino Jauhiainen they won’t do a 1994 Williams
Like A Bonus Season or Bonus Seasons!
Daniel Farmer they won’t because there isn’t a 1994 Williams it got destroyed by Williams after it was returned from sennas death so even if they will add it in the handling will not fell the same as the actual car
Never clicked so fast than Ben accepting a drive for Toyota
Why not some mid tier classic cars? Jaguar, Toyota, Jordan.... Maybe some older ones like the 6 wheels Tyrell. Maybe some Aflas since the brand is back.
Also make some damn driver transfers already. There should be ai driver movement too.
that's what i'm talking about!not only championship-winning cars,it would be actually great if they put some backmarckers such as minardi, marussia, caterham,HRT,and all that,it would be great
They can’t put driver transfers because of FOM and the sponsors
TheWeeaboo lol the tyrell p34 wasn't banned at all
Please make some Classic Tracks Codemasters. (Magny-Cours; Old Hockenheim or Imola)
New Classic Cars that I would like in F1 2018 :
2005 BMW Williams or McLaren
2012 or 2013 Lotus
2009 Brawn GP
1990 Ferrari
1994 Benetton
Features : Interviews with the press
New contract system (like F1 2005/06)
I would appreciate more invitational events
An option to save the photos you take in game
Coop Career (maybe in F1 2019 cause I imagine it is a little bit difficult to develop)
Real names from the drivers from the classic cars (like F1 2013 had)
Return of the Young Drivers Test (it is a little bit boring to have the opportunity to start your career with Mercedes, Ferrari or Red Bull
Pre Season testing to earn resource points for the upcoming season and to get used to the cars performance
Driver Skill Level (like MotoGP have, for example that Ricciardo is the best on the brakes)
It would be pretty cool if your rival really tries to put you down, maybe dive into you a lot more in the corners or saying something bad about you in the press conference
More dynamic comentators (like in F1 2005) so that they are telling you who's out of the Grand Prix or running down the Top 10
MAKE JEFF GO AWAY !!!
Somehow I would love to have the 2013 Red Bull. Loved F1 2013 and that car. In real life and in the game ...
Hopefully We Can Get Maybe A Classic Season Mode When There's A Random Selection Of Past Seasons With All The Drivers From That Year With Those Cars! (And Tracks)

Everyone in the F1 community: 'we want better multyplayer'
Everyone down at codemasters: let's make career mode even bigger......
You may have noticed but look at the 2018 in the logo as parts of a track not some weird font. Its at least more creative than just plain 2018.
Classic cars that we need in F12018
Brawn GP - 2009
Benneton - 1995
6 wheel tyrell
Maybe add the best car (WCC winner) from every year (at least every year after 1990).. 🤔
Any other cars we need? Reply to my comment ⬇️
2011 McLaren MP4-26: The sidepods made it unique that season
I agree McLaren 2011 and minardi or Honda B.A.R
Lupo the x-wing tyrrel is also an iconic car imo
Akseli Janhunen yesss the sauber
69 cars? That's asking for too much
They HAVE TO bring back classic tracks.

While they all sound fun, trust me m8, you'll get bored of it after doing it once.
I agree with you on the Brawn. Would also like to see FW25 (2003) and MP4-20 (2005), the latter was a monster if it could finish the race
I want a career mode where we can progress from year to year, starting maybe in 2004 seems possible with all the classic cars
Your are all wrong with interviews. The highly requested returning feature is the ability to race as Pastor Maldonado.
I hope F1 2018 get VR support so you can look around halo, and if it gets VR support it would motivate me to buy VR (PS4 Pro).
I am praying for the 2005 mclaren, and the benetton B192, to be added amongst the cars they had already
In addition to the Brawn, I’d love to see some classic liveries like the Orange Arrows, B&H Jordan, BMW Sauber etc.
I hope the engine sounds of the 2018 cars will be better than last years cars. The Ferrari was still using the sound files for the 2015 engine. I hope Codies will have recorded at least a 2016 engine so it sounds a bit more modern.
They should have the 2014 Mercedes. That car was OP. Should be a classic
Was dominant but slow as shit in mid-cornering. Wouldn't be enjoyable at all
I didn't mind the new F1 logo from its official release. But that 2018 is an eyesore, and stuff like that doesn't usually grow on me.
Excited for the new stuff!
I'd like to see wind as part of the weather. This year it's affected multiple sessions already, so it'd be good to see it implemented
Gilles's Villeneuve or Niki Lauda's Ferrari, would be awesome. :)
A history mode. Playing since first season, and following the evolution of Formula 1
My 3 main points would be:
3. Testing
It is pretty important in real life, where teams try out some updates/changes, so why it is not in the game - I don't understand.
Even though it wasn't a championship winning car, it was definitely extraordinarily fast, the 2005 mclaren mp4-20 driven
by Raikkonen and Montoya. I think they should consider it at least as it was far quicker than all of the cars on the grid.
What I would like is a full classic season. I think the fans could vote for their favorite season and all the tracks and cars from that season would be playable in game
Lauda, Hunt, fangio, fittipaldi classic cars and full grids from 2005 and up to 2014 would be lit
bring back some classic tracks eg. Adelaide so we can see what it would be like with new cars
F1 2016 was announced on May 27 and F1 2017 was announced on May 17. The only March announcement was F1 2015, and it was released in July.
Hope It's like Fifa: The Journey, like anything you say/do can affect your progression in career, like what teams you go to, or how you interact with mechanics or engineers on your team
I think the first thing you should do is a GP3 race and where you finish is what teams would be interested in signing you.
Classic tracks could be cool ( Imola, Magny Cours, Estoril, Buenos aires, Istanbul park, Fuji...)
Driver changes would be so sick to finally implement!
And I'd love the f1 2010 menu music (the one going on in the background)
THE HYPE IS ON!
I would love to have the ability to talk to press and for it to have an impact on how each team sees you. It would be awesome.
We wanted to see more of the living the life aspects and it looks like we got 'em. I'll come back to this when I get it to edit this.
I was about to watch your career and progress through f1 2017 n noticed this one....funny
I want Jules Bianchi's Car to Pay Tribute to Him or at least make a Tribute Car #ForzaJules
Daniel Farmer good idea
Even greater depth career mode has me intrigued and ready with my blank signed cheque!
What would be nice, if they are putting more historical cars in the game, put some of the historical tracks in the game as well. Oh, you got Mansell's '92 Williams well here is Estoril from that year or would you like to blast around classic Monaco in Senna's John Player Special
But looking forward to this already, the channel will have to be prepped and ready........and cleared from F1 2017 and NASCAR Heat 2 lol
Classic tracks would be nice
I would like to see some cars from the 70's!
I would love if they put in really old cars, older than the ones on 2017, it would just be nice to include cars since the beggining of F1 :)
They have decades of old cars to use. I'd love stuff from the 60s or 70s in addition to some old tracks.
Would be insane if they brought the fan car, raced only 1 weekend and it was fast as hell (Then withdrawn/banned after that race)
I think they need more classic cars from the 70s and 80s. Can't wait for the game
Ferrari 2008; Williams 94; Benetton 94; Lotus 72,87,85; Brabham 66, 78, 81.
If they could add 70s cars that would be lovely. Remember in F1 2013? They gave us niki lauda's ferrari from 1976 for creating an account somewhere?
I think what they should do is that when you are in cockpit view the halo is not there but on replays it’s there.
Wish there would be the feature to create your own team and rise it from the back to the top. I would also like to see the feature of the whole career beginning in F3 and going through F2 to finally F1. would also be a great thing to add I think
I'm so hyped for this game interviews were so great in the '10 and '11 games.
The announcement isnt late. 2015 was revealed at the Monaco GP too.
They should add a red zone, like in Motorsport manager, that gives a percentage chance of a random failure, rather than it happening with no warning, and it would also add more to the rnd for reliability
Also a record system that allows you to see top 5 in certain categories that is updated race by race
If we could get a 2007/2008 BMW Sauber, it isn't any iconic, but from that time's grid It was one of my favourites
Hopefully we can select whatever team we want when we start the career. People seem to dislike that you can select the best car at the beggining, but i want to start with Ferrari this next game.
Every car in history!!
Add more weight to the cars. I understand they are not supposed to be easy to drive but the cars usually feel to slippy-slidy especially in breaking zones like on 2016. And the wet racing can be improved by making the cars less snappy between accelerating and braking.
I really miss the Valencia street circuit! Was my most successful track back in the day.
I know it sounds dumb, but multiplayer carrer mode would be awesome.
Make it so that you can upgrade cars throughout the season, get new contracts, etc, for 2-20 players.
Niki Lauda's Ferrari
James Hunt's Mclaren
Senna's Lotus (although it was in 2014)
The four rear tyre Tyrrell (I know it's not a championship winning car, but it's still iconic)
Classic cars. Here's my 5
1. A Jim clark/Graham Hill era lotus
2. Brawn BGP001
3. Benetton B194
4. Williams FW11B
5. Ferrari 126CK/C2
I take it that the 2018 career mode will have Ben driving for Sauber and bringing them to the top step
one thing i do miss, is rear wing damage, when i was playing the old f1's i remember breaking quite a few haha, i know it may be pushing it slightly, but i say they should add a ' refueling ' option, so, like in the proper days of f1, you didnt have to carry so much fuel.
also, again, i might be pushing it, but ai health, as in, for example, i t-bone a driver, if the health reaches a certain point, because of the crash, , they go into hospital for a few races n the teams reserve driver comes on grid, obviously the original drivers health resets either each race or when they come out of hospital
another good thing to add would be f1 legends, like Schumacher, senna, prost ect
they should add the 1930's BRM 16cyl. If you try to race it, it only has a 3% chance of not breaking.
MY PREDICTIONS:
New features: Press conferences, pre season testing.
Opinions?
You know what I would like,
You could start in a certain year. lets say 2001.
If Miniclip has managed to make walking in the paddock possible in Superstar Racing, it should be possible for Codies.
Brawn GP 2009 also maybe the Tyrell 6 Wheeler or even the first McLaren that won a race from Bruce Mclaren. Maybe Senna's last Formula 1 car.
I hope too in classic cars from same year!
