Browns east is horrid!!!! Worse store experience without a doubt.
The boys at UJNG are old colleagues and good friends of mine.
Same with Ariana from Aro.
Closet case (down the road from machine a), may not be much to look at but carry some interesting brands. Worth a look.
Yeah don’t worry closet case is on our list, we just have to release the videos in parts so it’s more like a series. And yeah the vibe in browns east is absolutely horrible
Please do a video on how important being tailored and fashionable is regarding looking for a job and making the 1st impressions during an initial interview.
Smashed it bro, some stores I have never even heard of, keep up the consistency man!
Definitely check them out
Love from Cali! Keep the content comin 👌🏼
Thanks, I appreciate it
I’ve never heard about Aro archive, maybe because I haven’t manage to visit London yet but it looks amazing!
Despite that your channel is super interesting and informative and you seem to be a super chill guy.
Keep it going and thanks for the content!
the hoodies in the first store were really really nice
Trust me, they’re even nice in person. And really really well priced. If you take a look at their Instagram, their marketing shots and look books are quite interesting as well
-M
The Fashion Archive what’s the price for one hoodie?
Content keeps getting better 🙌🙌
Thanks a lot, really appreciate it
I moved to Shoreditch from Australia recently, didn’t know about the bulk of these stores so excited to check them out. Thanks heaps and great video 👍🏽
Glad you have some places to go to now and thanks for watching the video
Hello there,
I enjoy your videos you share here.
I visited London in February for the first time and fell in love with the city.
I had the same experience you had at Browns Mayfair, I was followed by a salesperson throughout the store the whole time I was there, and the salesperson wasn’t friendly at all. I didn’t think the store was anything special and left. Salespeople in high end fashion stores can be such stuck
up people, as if what they’re doing is so very important. Everywhere else I went in London was a joyous experience, and I will visit London again, but won’t be going back to Browns.
Wha a good analysis you made on these stores my guy👌🏼
Merci Merci 🙏🏿
Ayo is smart
Sometimes you just have those stores where the air ...well ...it's not breathable. No sweat off your back, there are other options. Interesting list ... Will check some of these out in my visit to London.
Yeah the vibe was off in browns east but oh well. There are many other stores to go to.
@@FashionRoadman I'm heavy into Yohji and his other sub brands ... Will check out part 1
Great video🖤 Although Browns East are a disgrace.
Another amazing video!
Thanks so much
@@FashionRoadman You're welcome, bro!
Great little series ..
If I could add any more from the Shoreditch area I personally think the best shop there is Hostem (its about 50 m up from Browns east) they do amazing conceptual and dark fashion pieces displayed in a lovely old church type venue. As a side note they don't really sell online, preferring people to have an in shop experience, which is quite refreshing. Also right next door to UJNG is one of my favourite shops MK2UK (rubbish name I know :) They have beautiful simple cut conceptual pieces which are almost unisex ~ from smaller known labels outside of the usual designer names (with a slight japanese feel/cut). Well worth checking out. Recently bought a gorgeous Nina Ullrich hat from there.
If you're doing a part 3 I hope you add in Vertice (recently moved to a new address in Soho) they have a wonderfully curated selection of designers like Deepti, MA+, The Soloist, Uma Wang, Yohji etc and great accessories too from some of the more interesting brands like Kuboraum and Parts Of Four. I'd say this is my fav shop out of all of London. In a similar vain but possibly even more (pricier) with CCP, Issac Sellem etc is The Library in Knightsbridge, a short walk away from the main high street of shops, Harrods etc in amongst the residential area. It's quite a large store so worth the trek to find it. If you carry on afterwards from there it's always worth checking out Worlds End at the top of Kings Road too as the original Vivienne Westwood store and still full of slanty floors and hidden gems, still one of London's more interesting stores.
Someone else has already mentioned it and I recommend it too, Closet Case, it's on the same road and side as Machine A, perhaps 15 shops up. They do a great trainer selection in particular from some of the less seen but super interesting brands like Cinzia Araia, Artselab etc.
Between me and you these are the stores we decided to cover for this series.

@@FashionRoadman Oooh very nice list 👍 very comprehensive. I would add in Hostem and that would pretty much cover them all then.
Enjoyed! Ready for part 3 🔥
Glad you enjoyed it
You should really put out that tote back as merch
I’m not a fan of the idea of selling Merch but I’ll definitely give some out for free at some point
Sick vid guys
Thanks ❤️
The Cold Laundry is good for my mental health. Clean and unfussy
yxng jynn track at the beginning, 237 is everywhere man
The Ann D. blazer looks really good. I am really looking forward for seeing the Part 3. Actually, in London you actually have 3 stockists of Namacheko (LN-CC, Matchesfashion and Machine-A), it would be great if you could talk about the brand. Thank you.
We’ll definitely look into it and try and add it to our schedule 👍

The Fashion Archive thank you for your service 🤝
intro song pls x
All music is in the description ❤️
Loved this video, I have always wondered what makes clothes high end / luxury/ designer.?Is it a fabric thing, brand name or ......... I hope you can shed some light on this for me. Thanks
There are many reasons why luxury clothing is more expensive, that being said sometimes people are paying just for a name or logo and it’s important to know the difference.
Factors like, country regulations, better materials, paying workers more, more expertise within staff, product research etc are the reasons why.
I touched on it a bit more in this video : My Sister Guesses The Prices Of My Clothing Items th-cam.com/video/L1jLkgzxV9w/w-d-xo.html
@@FashionRoadman thanks for the info. I will definately watch that video. Keep up the good work, I am learning a lot from you channel.
love the video, but have to say I personally think Cold Laundry quality is really quite average. Having felt the puffer jacket that is now sold out, it really is the same quality as h and m. Lets not even get into the pleats, just looks like a very cheap copy of isseys. Same products can be found in almost most Korean stores for 1/4 of the price, I wouldn't be surprised if they had just bought pieces and sew on their own label.
The guys at Browns probably just got chewed out by their boss.
Bro this background music garbage 😓
I quite liked them haha
Are there stores that carry bigger sizes like size 22 dress.
The only one I’m aware of is Beige London
id on your tshirt?
Maharishi
Do you guys ask for permission to film first?
Yup. Most stores have a policy against filming because of customers being filmed so you always have to ask for permission in advance. We filmed outside for the stores where we didn’t have permission.
