From a professional Arborist point of view, keep mulch at least 2 inches away from the trunk of your tree. It can actually girdle your tree and kill it, in time.. Your mulch should be out to the drip line of your tree. Improves the health of your tree. Great projects.
Love that you put these three projects into one video. Your work is always done in excellence and I can truly appreciate that. Great job and very inspiring.
I wish you were my neighbor so you could built me an outdoor sitting area. My hubby and I sprayed a circle and that’s about it 😂😂😂 We also live in Indiana
Wow what a fantastic job you have you ,your wife is very lucky to have a clever husband like you . Your a very handy guy wish you stayed in Scotland UK 👏😉👍😊
Great job/s! Looks terrific and surely adds value to your property. # Just a warning about the Perimeter Ant Treatment. We had similar problems with ants coming into the house; kitchen, bathroom, pet bowls etc. Mostly in the drier months looking for water. After getting tired of using spot Ant Bait stations - which worked for a while, but then they'd be back, we did the same. A different product, used a perimeter spray, all around the house and extra at known entry points. Good! We thought. That'll fix them! WRONG. A couple of months later; hundreds of thousands of ants, great black streams of them, boiled out of every crack, light fitting, power point etc. into the house. An Ant PLAGUE NIGHTMARE! Horrifying! Had to call in the professional exterminators, who had to go through every room, every cupboard, everywhere, including getting into the roof space and try to spray down into every wall cavity - with { allegedly } 'low toxicity' treatment. AND, come back and do it all again 2 weeks later. They told me they'd encountered this problem with perimeter sprays before. It works well to stop ants getting in - BUT - the ants that are ALREADY IN the house, in the wall cavities, under the floors then CAN'T get back OUT to their nests, so they make new nests inside your walls etc. After a couple of years of no ants, this year they're starting to make little trails in again, but I don't want to spray everything again, especially with the pets, and with my husbands asthma... so am back to using the spot bait stations. They work, just gotta grit your teeth and ignore them until they've taken the stuff back to their nests & die out. GOOD LUCK!

Wow that’s crazy! I never would’ve thought of this. Thanks for posting this.
And how pet friendly?
Good work. But the baclyard looks more than boring. I guess, no bird, no bee or butterfly will show up, hopefully

I have pets, so I would find a safer more natural repellent.
