- From 'Skyhook Games' (the same developer that made Horseshoe Curve) now available for TSW3 is this heritage pack for Norfolk Southerns own 10 special ES44ac's representing fallen flags of yesterday.
6 scenarios from the aforementioned route come with the pack along with 9 (not 10) heritables for the ES44 painted by Norfolk Southern.

Fr, only difference is that the dlc ones would be more detailed cause layer limit and probably have a better color match

Not sure if anyone said it yet but on the Monongahela unit, the sill under the AC and inventor cabinets is indeed painted correctly, matching the prototype locomotive. Otherwise great review as always!
Honestly compared to other release this is way better, the details are crispy, they actually took tine with the door detail on 8025, yeah but they should have just updated the skybox and weather effect and gave this locomotive new sounds then it would have been perfect,
Now if they could have added like an SD70ACU in addition to this yes it would be even better, a livery pack and a locom

Technically, Central of Georgia is still an active railroad like Conrail is. We are contractors for NS and CofG is under a 99 year lease to NS. We just don’t have any power or rail cars of our own. And I’m lucky enough to work for NS in Savannah where we are CofG employees. Even have the logo on our paystubs
In Atlanta they corporation building is so beautiful i took pictures of it
The only thing wrong with LV 8104 is the nose and rear handrails are orange and not yellow. NS originally painted them yellow in the original paint scheme, but they corrected it after they repainted it to the current scheme. Check out the original photos when it was first released.
There’s a new dlc coming out soon for train simulator classic, it is the NS Saluta grade route made by high iron simulations. I can’t wait for it to come out. Are you going to review it when it comes out
You know when Schnauz doesn't flat out sh*t on a TSW DLC it must be pretty good.
Good review again, love how you go into detail about them. I'm usually critical about this stuff, but not gonna lie, the creator's club stuff looks nowhere as good as these liveries. They always end up pixelated with bad fonts etc. The only thing that gets close are .pak liveries by modders.
Might pick these up on sale, bit expensive for a livery pack.
Also they'd look way better witb the TOD4 mod on this route.

i learn how to use the paint mod to paint the trains in this game i made a few heritages and they came out pretty well
The only way I would recommend anything from DT is to get it when its on sale. Otherwise you're getting ripped off.
There's some nice mods on TSC already

My 2 cents, I live right across the street from a rail line going into the port of Vancouver, just down the road is a yard, CP and CN ES44s pass by my house all of the time and they blare the horn before leaving the yard, in my opinion the horn in game sounds EXACTLY the same as real life, my only gripe is tsw3 doesnt implement a skip fire fuel saving mode when the engine is sitting idle.
20:37 ( personally ( although it's a cheap pick. The paint scheme being that of my first scale locomotive is my reason )) this is the best heritage unit
Looking at $21.95 here for the pack but I'd rather stick to browsing the content creator and 3rd party for liveries 🤷♂️
Can you still run these engines on other routes, or is it exclusive only to Horseshoe Curve?
Is HSC required for this pack or can the trains be used on other routes without HSC?

licensing issues
Sad thing is 8099s number boards arent black and there is no logo on the back (so they didnt go with 8099s 2023 appearance)
8099 was given the rear logo a few years ago
Do you need the recommend route to use the dlc or can I just get the dlc an use on other routes

I think they weren't able to do it because of licensing
At £9.99, or any price for that matter, there should be a whole new model in the pack instead of yet another pack of liveries for an existing model. Bit of a disappointment for what I assume will be the last add-on released in the TSW3 era.
If they were going to add anything to the HSC route, it should've been an SD40E or whatever NS uses on helper service now.
A whole new model would have cost much more and taken much more time. Skyhook probably wanted to make a quick buck before the summer release

Why pay $15 for liveries that I can get for free from the creators club? $8 at most, but $15? Heck no.
This is just another pointless cash grab. I can just download mods of these liveries or use the creators club. This is just DTG and Skyhook trying to get some money before tsw4 is announced and released

Thanks for sacrify yourself bro, this is just repaints that overpriced and not neccesarry at all. The ES44AC's physic still broken since day 1 of HSC.
