Ummm, OK don't know if it's a good idea to sing one of the coaches songs to them. But hey it worked I guess. He wasn't bad at all, just kind of a risky move on his part.

I think he didn't sing quite well for performing an acoustic version of that song. The lyrics are not so deep and to interpret them, you need to be a very good performer. I don't know if this guy was the one who chose this version, but I think it would've been better with the original version. Here, Jackson had a very shaky voice, trying so hard to interpret the song but it didn't quite work for me at least. I don't wanna think Joe turned because it was his song but I kinda felt it that way.
