I stayed in a hammock for a week or so on the Caribbean coast whist in Colombia 24 years ago backpacking through South America. Absolutely loved it apart from dealing with the mozzi net every time i needed a pee in the night. Not sure how my back would hold up now at 47 though ! Thanks for posting this , you've inspired me to get dust off the tent and get back out into our beautiful British countryside!
This looked awesome. I've been looking around that area of the mendips to do a wildcamp. didnt fancy a spot with a view? I guess you couldnt be having fires if you were on show.

Definitely get out there. 47 is young! You've got decades of camping ahead of you! :)

Great video Jay, made all the better by having me in it!! Pretty lucky we didn't destroy two drones 🤣🤣
Cheers Mate, was fun! Worth the risk for that shot I say! Proper geeks 😆
What forest is this? Am wanting to go wild camping at the mendips tomorrow but really unsure of where to go?
