Less is more...it's unbelievable that is just 125cc ❤️ I have 220cc Bajaj Avenger feb 2013 - it's an Indian bike you might not have heard of...I felt like I need more...but seeing such videos make me feel it's more than enough ❤️ I want to use it as much as I can 👍
Top job fellas, a very enjoyable watch and inspirational to an old git like me who's hoping to be 'born again' after more than 20 years off bikes. I'm a typical 'never took my test when it was easy and cheap' type and so I've been looking at the 125cc market and not liking what I'm seeing in terms of costs, so the prospect of doing something like this is very interesting.
I have been the same as far as bike test...should have done it years ago...have had 10, 125's over the years lol. Glad you like it and thank you for watching and commenting....more builds will come.
Great build! I wish there were more street legal 125's here in the US. Mainly the smallest street legal bikes here are 250's and used bikes go for over 1500$ if you want a running & roadworthy example. most are dual sport as well. Great video, keep up the good work & wish you all many years of fun & safe riding
I think that f the paint scheme of the whole bike, including the engine an spokes wheels turn into black will give more fancy look to this bike, an of course short silencer with open exhaust lil bit modifications are still require to make it more like cafe racer. But your efforts are really goo to make a simple cafe racer in low budget.
Where I live the L plates are only 2 inches by 2 inches. plenty visible enough with out having to be the size of a house.....you lot should start a petition to get that remedied.
wlad del perhaps he holds a full licence or just doesn't care but on a CBT in the UK it is the law to display L plates both on the front and rear of the motorcycle
Great video,I'm looking into a project that would turn my cg125 into a cafe racer style bike so this video helped! Get your full license and drop those hideous L plates though!the bike would look a hell of a lot better!
i drilled the rivets out cut the back off with a grinder then redrilled the holes for the rivets in new positions bent the supports up to meet the guard and cut them short drilled and re-riveted job done.
looks like a late 70s yamaha dt175. what is the top speed on flats? i like it. i almost bought a 77 dt175 and was gonna basically do the same but i just bought a grom instead. though i got a good deal on the grom it was still 2k us. the old bikes i found were about the same price i got the grom for though. mainly because they were still in very good condition for the age. but i still like the cafe racer look and who knows maybe ill mod the grom one day. ps get better looking mirrors. and man you should have got the bars that shoot back towards the bike. or the 3 piece bars where the handles can be adjusted in or out.

It's beautiful because you have respected a lot from the original design. Haven't gone too far where the bike looks completely different. The only thing I would have done is remove the cover protector on the suspension (the black thing) and lower a liiiiittle bit. But apart from that it's really gorgeous.
I eally didnt mind the old square lights! nor the seat. the mudguards for sure looked lihjt shit in combo with . the squarded shapes of the latter, but i think it could have looked nice as was, as soon as they were cut down. beautiful end product, tho
The difference is night and day, nice job! Couple of reservations though, once Malcolm is on the bike it looks too small for him, how tall is he? Also, it might be the microphone used for recording but the bike doesn't sound too good. Still, it's a lovely looking machine.
Thank you for your kind words, I am 5'11" i agree it does look small its ok to ride though and the microphone does make it sound quite a bit more tappety or metalic than in reality for a Chinese motor with 20k miles on it its pretty good. Thanks again for your comment, be safe.
well... what we mean is, it is possible but would require some level of fabrication and parts swapping and I feel that at this would be missing the point of the video being "Small Budget Build". However in the future this is certainly something that could be considered along with things like disc brake conversions and fork swap. Thank you for your comment we do appreciate them.
I would love to try this on a cheap Sanya SY125 that i have just purchased for £250, where did you get these parts from and do you think they will fit a Sanya?
Love your channel. No ego no bullshit, just two decent blokes talking about bikes.
Thank you

Very cool little bike bro...
I own a motorcycle shop here in texas.i love and respect all sizes of bikes..and you did a good job on this one..cheers

£250 for a running bike is insane haha
Yeah...so he gave only 200 for it, which is even better..lol
Yeah what the hell in Ireland can't get something like this for less than 1 grand
got a 1985 suzuki 550 for $150 runs and drives
IVE HAD ONE OF THOSE, amazing bike!
What exactly is insane in that ?
How much are you willing to pay for a bike ? This is a cheapo bike made from Chinesium.

Thank you for the great comment. What are import costs like from UK to USA?
Thanks for the idea, i plan to do a café racer project in the future.
First 2 minutes thought I was looking at a Suzuki
Truth
wait.. i wasn't looking at a suzuki? bahah
।
Me too
Same

SUzuki + kawasaKI + honDA.. thats the origin of its name... i have the same bike before but has 150cc engine on it...
What a difference!
It's given me a few ideas for my ybr 125 custom
Thank you for your comment and good luck with your build.
David Hockley I know it’s been a while but did you convert your ybr custom? I have the same bike and would love to.
you just educated me, thank you!
Clip ons would look good on this
Amazing, guys! How easily u turned a simple looking bike into good looking bike.
5 star for you both!
those "L" markings surely destroys the stance of the bike ..... ughhhh
Yes they do I totally agree, but unfortunately they are required by law.
RJ has a full licence thats why he has bikes like the S1000R and his Nuda, which in the UK are too big of a bike to ride on just cbt
Why you need to put a L ? What that means?
small bikes are adorable
Great vid. Comman mans cafe. Those are great smile machines. Thank you.
I was planning to sell my Kawasaki Barako 175 then I saw this. . .
It's sooo tempting to custom it. .
Thank You. .
Fantastic job lads! So impressed I almost sound British! lol
Great simple build. Just curious, what is that square panel mounted on the fork with red marking?
That is brilliant for the money laid down and the aesthetic change.
Nice works lads! Lovely little bike! Definitely a budget build with style. Subscribed to your channel, having a Sunday watch now :)
Awesome thank you! Malcolm is thinking about another build right now...I'm considering it myself too to be honest
love it
Can you do a whole video how you did the front MUD guard. It looks really good with the lip around the whole ends
Nice video guys!
Nice project
you guys have done a tremendous job
The Sukida base bike is a Honda TMX 125 here in the Philippines which is made in China as well.
You mean the Historic honda cg125 from the late 70's
Cool bikes
Sir, Very motivational and informative for me.. Thanks a lot.. from Pakistan...
Just amazing from Bangladesh ❤❤🇧🇩🇧🇩
Love the video guys! Just Subscribed
Great stuff. Cheers
Not bad for the budget. Needs the foot controls moved back for a little better body position now that the bars are lower.
Awesome job
Great back to great content like it was but much better 😎
You guys get ridiculously good prices for parts. Everything costs so much to ship here
Are you in America? We have heard that many times...for me it is OK as my Mustang parts cost a fortune yet USA...so cheap. lol
Great video,I'm looking into a project that would turn my cg125 into a cafe racer style bike so this video helped! Get your full license and drop those hideous L plates though!the bike would look a hell of a lot better!
Agree! It is happening, not right now...but it is happening
Really Good Job and God migrate CG 125
So nice
Nicely done. !👍
Trim the rear fender and add two feet of license plate. It did turn out well though.
well done !
amazing guys
David Attenborough would be proud😄
very good job guys
Nice seat
Nice work...
nice job...but i would prefer a brat style seat...and black paint job...
anyway. ..keep it up 👍
awesome
I really want that mondial
Why not buy one?
@@motorsforthemasses its not available where I live
@@bathin813 Oh! Where are you?
@@motorsforthemasses maldives
Great video. But what is the great big "L" on the fork?
I keep digging at him for that...Sadly a UK requirement by law
Awesome motorcycle 💯
Well presented
Great project lads! I wish you had shown how to cut down the mud guard though. Did it need a weld?
Fair point. I will nudge Malc to answer....
i drilled the rivets out cut the back off with a grinder then redrilled the holes for the rivets in new positions bent the supports up to meet the guard and cut them short drilled and re-riveted job done.
Very cheap bike... I like it buddy
i love it!
looks real good for a little money 😎👍💰. 🎉chears🎊
Might recommend coring out the exhaust, a bar end mirror, clean the wheels.
Watch this space...update video coming soon.
“The wife got involved, 200 pounds”
Love it 🤩🤩

Hi, you are right about the handle bars but the key was small budget and those 3 piece ones were too expensive for that. Top speed is about 70 UK mph.
the big tv networks should do a feature of you..like on jessica soho...your videos are entertaining and informative...
Thank you....Perhaps we will get noticed? That would be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welldone
Changed the head lamps, seats, mud guards and wants to check wether the bike sounds different
Where was that? We wanted to see what it sounded like but nothing was mentioned about whether it sounds any different.....
@@motorsforthemasses yeah what it sounds like after changing those things
Great work guys.... how you did front mud guard short?
i drilled the rivets out cut the back off with a grinder then redrilled the holes for the rivets in new positions bent the supports up to meet the guard and cut them short drilled and re-riveted job done.
Enjoyed. Thank you!
can you do a bobber on a budget video please
That is certainly on the cards!
Motors for the Masses brilliant, been wanting to do one myself but just need some tips so a video like this would be perfect:)
What model is the other bike in this video? Looks super cool!
i would replace the exhaust to make it more of a deeper sound
He has..another video will follow soon.
What a beautiful and lovely bike did you use?
congrats half million views
Thank you...that is fantastic!!!
this bike very strong
Were did the seat come from please ?
very nice owsome
good job...
awesome transformation. how u modified the handle bar??
It's beautiful because you have respected a lot from the original design. Haven't gone too far where the bike looks completely different. I want it!
Nice little build. What was that bike at the very beginning?
That is my FB Mondial 125
wow very affordable price
how about replacing tires with thick ones ?
at 1:25 the side cafe racer was distracting me
I really liked the cafe racer you came driving in the starting of the video. Is there any way i can buy one?
Yes, it is the FB Mondial HPS 125
I have zontes zt 125 v. Is nice Cafe racer.
The difference is night and day, nice job!
Couple of reservations though, once Malcolm is on the bike it looks too small for him, how tall is he? Also, it might be the microphone used for recording but the bike doesn't sound too good.

it'S also a 125 so it's to be excpected lol
what is your motor? looks cool..
FB Mondial (Italian designed - an Old Italian race bike company from the 1940's-70's); uses the same engine as the Aprilia RS4
Was the headlight very bright?
Yes, pretty good actually
Motors for the Masses did it have side light too?
Not as standard; Malcolm drilled a hole and fitted one
even if i didnt like bikes id watch for the accents
LOL, nice to know we entertain on many levels
Same here 😹😹
the grey one is gorgeous , which bike is it??
FB Mondial
when he was cutting off the rear mudgaurd, was he recording with an Actual Security camera??
That was poor, we have a boom mic for that camera now.
I'm in the process of buying a mondial,do u still recommend one ?
Sorry, can you tell me the name of the handlebar of the motorbike?
you forgot to put fat wide tires and that's a funny looking massive license plate
Sadly number plate size is law and fat tyres will not fit in the frame. Nice idea but not possible.

Loved it
0:28 beginning of the video, what is the name of the bike?
FB Mondial HPS 125
Motors for the Masses they don't have this bike in the USA?
www.fbmondial.com/rivenditori/
Not yet it seems. This bike is also sold as the Aprilia in Asia. Perhaps your Aprilia dealer could get one?
Motors for the Masses cant find the bike on aprilla dealer. Thank you!
yes
I would love to try this on a cheap Sanya SY125 that i have just purchased for £250, where did you get these parts from and do you think they will fit a Sanya?
Great job lads are you pair riding on a CBT.
Yes. Although, doing my test soon
Motors for the Masses your gonna need it before that 400 cafe scrambler is finished for the big test ride
Indeed
