"You are so special to me... and if I get the chance I'll watch over you." *Heart breaks in half* Gahhh I am bawling right now. Beautiful scene by Marc, and he finally gets a scene that shows off his acting chops like Danny always gets. I'm gonna miss both Jackson and Marc. The character was one of the most selfless people ever, but in the end he had to do what felt right for him :'-(
Time for a holiday - Yes Switzerland where we can get all this over and done with quickly and he doesn't have to put friends and family through the wringer. Also make a nice change to see Aaron in a mountain setting.
@luckyduck152 what i was refering to was; that the guy (danny) can cry like no one i have ever seen before. the only thing i would say in reference to your comment is, he's won 6 awards in the last year, so whether he has hang ups or not, he's a damn good actor.
2017 - fcking hell - last 3 minutes of this and Im balling - and I don't watch Emmerdale - this storyline though - omfg - Marc - wow man ... what you at now ?
@adgp I agree with all you said! I think the biggest problem here is that some people are not able to handle these type of issues and death in itself. That´s why they can´t stand this amazing body of work that comes from December 2009 to this very day (although they faithfully keep watching lol)
OMG this was heartbreaking once again. Marc Silcock is really an amazing actor. I sincerely hope he will be rewarded for his wonderful performance throughout this entire story line. The same goes for Pauline Quirk, I love her. As sanyrub always says, this is TV Gold. :-) And for all the people who are still complaining day after day to pull the plug on this story line: it will come to an end on next Tuesday. So maybe you could refrain from posting your annoying cant over and over again.
It´s funy how many people say Emmerdale has lost them but they are here commenting day after day without missing a detail. ED must be doing something right. Admit it already LOL
@Demetri450 So what these 3 characters are feeling is not normal or logical? Or the characters development has not been worked little by little? (In fact most of that people u refer say that this has been dragging too long and it should have ended sooner, pure contradiction if they want this to be treat in a more serious and exhaustive way)
Jackson is making a goodbye video to Aaron his crying saying he loves Aaron and that he was the best thing that has ever happen to him.I wish he could say that to Aaron he needs to hear that. All his doing being mean to Aaron giving him attitude. Are we ever going to see them alone talking about what what they mean to each other that they are going to miss each other i want to see that before it all ends.
@digitalonyx omg LOL It´s annoying. Sometimes is so difficult to hold back reading all this. I understand your comment. It has happened to me a few times
Maybe I'm just making excuses for the writers, but, one could argue that Jackson's speech made sense from the point of view of Jackson's mentality. For the past few months, he has been mostly isolated in that bed with four walls & just Aaron,Joe & Hazel as his main company. He's thought about Aaron (& his paralysis of course) for ages, over and over... he's bound to become foolishly quixotic and maudlin about a pretty 'average' (or perhaps unaverage) relationship. Hell, at one point...
@luckyduck152 I don't think Danny is hung up at all about having to play a gay character. Just because someone comes out doesn't mean who they are changes. Aaron acts just the same towards towards people before and after he came out. He was emotionally distant towards everybody and that doesn't change now that people know he is gay. I think Danny Miller is being an incredibly consistent actor in that making sure that Aaron's core personality didn't change with the story.
@JordanjamesX Yes there are them avenues but if you cast your mind back, Jackson has asked Aaron not to inform people, and the last thing Hazel and Aaron want is for Jackson to be sectioned. And with the inclusion of the character of steve it shows that there is an alternative but Jackson doesn't want that route.
@adgp Wow... such a hysterical response to my comment. Do you spend most of your time on here exaggerating other people's comments? I never said I wanted them to kiss every 2 seconds... I never said I "wanted to see them in a mid-afternoon romp". I know this soap airs in the early evening in Britain but it would have been possible to show Aaron and Jackson's relationship in a way that would make me believe they were in love. This is at best a story of 2 friends. Emmerdale has failed miserably.
@JiminPalmSprings agreed. All of what he was saying would have much more impact and emotional pull if these sentiments and feelings were actually explored in real, meaningful ways. As it stands his words come across as pretty empty (nothing more than just exposition) and I found myself mostly unfeeling which I think shows how much Emmerdale has lost me with the storyline :(
@JiminPalmSprings I'm sorry but what were you expecting from a pre-watershed soap? Kissing every two seconds? A romp in the mid afternoon? You all seem to be forgetting that Aaron is still coming to terms with his being Gay! And even if that isn't enough there is such a thing as using your imagination!! Geez I am sick of people saying that it isn't realistic! It's a soap for cryin out loud, it's supposed to be a reflection on real life with a bit missing and a bit added and a bit taken away!!
I'm seriously worried about Aaron (which is a first). He is taking on a great deal, and right now, I can imagine his head is spinning out of control. If Jackson does go through with the suicide, I wonder how Aaron will be able to cope with it all once it sinks in...
@luckyduck152 I think you should expect more cold for a long time. I don´t think this is going to have that closure like "ok from now on happy times". It´s so not going to happen
@Demetri450 This reminds me of QAF season 1 episode one when Brian is joking about jumping of the roof, after his son has just been born. Brian: I could end it all! Right now! Michael: That would be dramatic. Just like ER… birth and death in the same episode. Now, get down!
if only the heartfelt feelings Jackson expressed around 6:20 in today's episode were based on something we actually saw on the show. Then Jackson's words would have meaning. All it does do is highlight Emmerdale's utter failure in depicting Aaron and Jackson's relationship
I love how Paddy cares and how Adam cares! Only for that I would be able to watch this show with pleasure. What do u guys tell me about Jackson´s face at 2:42??? So lovely. It is in moments like that I wish I could change the storyline!Marc can´t go...:( And then the last part when he talked about Aaron... how can be Marc and Pauline so good too? If I were Jackson I would have fallen for Aaron too. And I know he was an idiot a year ago but...
They must have made a wrong move in making the storyline in the first place..at this stage maybe the directors and writers were sayin that they should not have made J cripple, bedbound for the rest of his life so they change the storyline easiy..making J bedbound and cripple is the end of his role and the best way is death...sad part for J....end it quick and start a new interesting line....everyone was enthusiasteic about the love of both A and J..but at the end it gets worst
@scaperdblstm5 zach sed that you cud tell there was something wrong with ronas baby, due to the child being downsyndrome and aaron got pissed off with that statement. zach and most of the dingles normally say the wrong thing lol
@hanluci There are some things I can´t understand either. Some other things yes but for example the homophobia thing??? I swear some people don´t even watch the clips or at least the storyline since the beggining more than a year ago
@superxx57 Yeah, I'm worried (but looking forward) too. I think Aaron is going to retreat back into himself and wreck all the relationships he's built over the past year.
@adgp But this soap is not dealing with Jackson's disability honestly. I am not British but I imagine in England there must be services such as therapy for people with disabilities. It seems a bit drastic to me that Jackson wants to end his life. What kind of message is Emmerdale sending that people with disabilities are just suicidal depressed people? I think the show should have explored alternatives. So why hasn't the show examined Jackson's depression? Why no therapy sessions?
The actor who plays Jackson is very good...I am confident within the next few months he will be reincarnated on another British show...probably as a straight guy...just like Hollyoaks' gay John Paul is now a straight guy on here...
i feel like this big hammer is above our heads and no matter where we go it moves with us and its going to drop at any time. I am fixing to go up and just make the bloody thing fall, im tired of waiting for it. arghhhhhhhhh
The reason some people feel this storyline is homophobic is because it is rare for a gay relationship to be shown with tenderness and love. People seem to think the writers of Emmerdale are being progressive when they are not. I think the reason this wheelchair storyline works for the writers of this show is they don't have to focus on the gay sex. I don't see the passion other people are saying they see. I just see two friends not two lovers. This storyline is a total copout.
I agree with MsMittzOrton the storyline is really starting to drag it is very boring. I understand disability is a serious issue BUT I feel the writers don't really want to deal with the homosexual storyline. The Euthanasia issue is just a way to end the gay relationship between Jackson and Aaron.
@adgp I personally see no sexual chemestry between Aaron & Jackson - they act the scenes outstanding but i don't see any spontanious smiles - gazes- touches or anything that would prove more than they are just friends and not even that close. There is more sexual energy between Aaron and Adam - and i know they are frieds in real life maybe that is the difference. it has always been flat and maybe that is how Aaron is manifesting his gay side in this show. Not so convincingly
Jackson is in a wheelchair BUT I don't see any passion between them. I just see two friends going through a difficult situation. I also don't like the underlining issue of homophobia here. Once again, Jackson's character is the depressed gay man. So gay men can only be depressed and unhappy on TV? I understand Emmerdale is a soap but this disabled storyline is a bit unrealistic and also not dealing with the homosexual relationship between Aaron and Jackson.
@digitalonyx ---Totally agree with you. Some people on here wouldn't be satisfied if Emmerdale showed Aaron and Jackson having full blown sex. They'd still want more scenes.
Broke my heart to hear Jax message to Aaron.
The character was one of the most selfless people ever, but in the end he had to do what felt right for him :'-(
Marlon..."well, I've seen pigs being born...." lolol
Cousin Aaron, not uncle. Second cousin I think, so hard to keep track in the Dingle clan.
Thank you for continuing to upload this x x
Big THx. Kim for your hard work
Time for a holiday - Yes Switzerland where we can get all this over and done with quickly and he doesn't have to put friends and family through the wringer. Also make a nice change to see Aaron in a mountain setting.
Heartbreaking end... and of course the worst is to come *sniffle*
@luckyduck152 what i was refering to was; that the guy (danny) can cry like no one i have ever seen before. the only thing i would say in reference to your comment is, he's won 6 awards in the last year, so whether he has hang ups or not, he's a damn good actor.
danny miller is a first class actor, i think the guy who plays jackson has been getting crying lessons, altough no one crys like danny miller.
2017 - fcking hell - last 3 minutes of this and Im balling - and I don't watch Emmerdale - this storyline though - omfg - Marc - wow man ... what you at now ?
It's over for Jackson but Hazel and Aaron will find out who their real friends are.Marc ,Pauline and Danny are such good actors.I'll miss Marc.
i almost cried too. was powerful.
@adgp I agree with all you said! I think the biggest problem here is that some people are not able to handle these type of issues and death in itself. That´s why they can´t stand this amazing body of work that comes from December 2009 to this very day (although they faithfully keep watching lol)
I really wish this story could move me like it used to.
OMG this was heartbreaking once again. Marc Silcock is really an amazing actor. I sincerely hope he will be rewarded for his wonderful performance throughout this entire story line. The same goes for Pauline Quirk, I love her. As sanyrub always says, this is TV Gold. :-)
And for all the people who are still complaining day after day to pull the plug on this story line: it will come to an end on next Tuesday. So maybe you could refrain from posting your annoying cant over and over again.
@b4804514 do you only watch the Aaron and Jackson scenes or do you watch the whole programme?
It´s funy how many people say Emmerdale has lost them but they are here commenting day after day without missing a detail. ED must be doing something right. Admit it already LOL
Oh no! I think that @ 7:44 that they're both watching that videotape in that film 'The Ring' (0_0)
@JiminPalmSprings exactly how long have you been following the story for?
i really don't know what to do with myself
the only thing i seem to be able to do is cry
not much energy for anything else
jackson you killed me today
The Baby is so cute :) Awwww
@Demetri450 So what these 3 characters are feeling is not normal or logical? Or the characters development has not been worked little by little? I didn't understand what Zach said to piss Aaron off. Can someone repeat it for me?
Can anyone tell me what Zack said that got Aaron mad.
sorry im waaay late, but I think zach reffered to Leo having down syndrome as "having something wrong"
Zach said, "You know something went wrong, but that's alright". Sorry for the lateness.
@luckyduck152 I don't think Danny is hung up at all about having to play a gay character. Just because someone comes out doesn't mean who they are changes. @JiminPalmSprings So, so true. I was just thinking that I don't see it at all…
@adgp Wow... such a hysterical response to my comment. Do you spend most of your time on here exaggerating other people's comments? I never said I wanted them to kiss every 2 seconds... @sanyrub I wish people would stick to sharing their views of the show and not try to characterize people whose views of the show are different.
Off topic, but Pauline Quirke is looking really good!
@Demetri450 This reminds me of QAF season 1 episode one when Brian is joking about jumping of the roof, after his son has just been born.
Brian: I could end it all! Right now!
Michael: That would be dramatic. Just like ER… birth and death in the same episode. Now, get down!
@alwaysuseless You are always so kind to me! Thank u sweetie lol
if only the heartfelt feelings Jackson expressed around 6:20 in today's episode were based on something we actually saw on the show. Then Jackson's words would have meaning. All it does do is highlight Emmerdale's utter failure in depicting Aaron and Jackson's relationship
Pour quand le rebondissement ?

@adgp With the inclusion of Steve we have two alternatives-a suicidal depressive & a happy hair-brain.
@adgp Unfortunately, I too believe that's exactly what's going to happen...
Maybe its just one way to get a good rating and then start a new one...for the next votation....crap....
UGH - babies!
@MeistersingerJB mardi prochain... l'histoire de Jackson prendra fin ce jour-là :-(
@scaperdblstm5
zach sed that you cud tell there was something wrong with ronas baby, due to the child being downsyndrome and aaron got pissed off with that statement. zach and most of the dingles normally say the wrong thing lol
This is so hard! Obviously, Jackson is going to walk again but will Aaron be able to love him after all of the stress? I hope so! :)
jackson's really going? no renewal of contract? ohhhh... :(
@hanluci There are some things I can´t understand either. Some other things yes but for example the homophobia thing??? I swear some people don´t even watch the clips or at least the storyline since the beggining more than a year ago
