I love watching these sting videos. I think they're so much more entertaining than hip hop battles with the melodies and the costumes and the energy. Can some one explain to me how they work though? Is a song chosen by the band and both have to perform to it and the crowd decides who's best?
In Jamaica producers release "Riddims" and each individual artist whom chooses to for a fee can use the "riddim" ( beat ) usually they choose a riddim and go with it or each individual DJ can choose the riddim he wants most of this video used the "martial arts riddim" and it's a mix of songs they already have and improve with constant disses the crowd (jamworld) reaction ultimately determines the winner.
Kiprich was about to get his wings clipped by ninja at the end and you could see the desperation when it stopped going like he planned. They locked it off because you can't get killed by your daddy when the theme is past the torch. Knowing what we know now (sting is no more) should have just let it go on with ninja finishing him.
