I think Pachinko is a must see show, because, and I am speaking from de point of view of a Lee Min-ho fan, it's a resurrection of Lee Min-ho the actor. We will got to see him in a different posture this time. A powerful and unique performance never seen before. I think Lee Min-ho this time succeeded to pour out all his passion into his acting. Because of the uniqueness of the story which narrates the history of Korean Immigrants who left their homes and families behind at the time of Japanese colonialism to look for better life in Japan. It's a story that speaks about his grand grandparents struggle to live in the harsh world of that time. And when I read the book, I found out that what has been told from a Korean point of view can be relatable to other nations too. Because at that time of the history, several nations were suffering from the same situation. Colonialism, economic crisis and huge part of the population suffering from luck of basic necessities of life. So if me Moroccan I watch Pachinko, I can relate my self too to that story, because it's also the story of my grand grandparents. And now days, the world is till suffering from the weight of unjustified wars, economic crisis, unemployment, that had pushed several people to leave their countries to go and look for better life in a different country. So history is repeating itself. That reality of yesterday is a reality of today too. So a work like Pachinko can bring us to think together about the crisis that the world is suffering from now days. It will push everyone of us to think again about how we visualize the other, how we can get closer to the other's vision, by giving each other the chance to discuss the issues that every nation is struggling with. And try to find solutions for it together. Because if we don't gather our strength to face that, we won't make it to tomorrow. Each one sufferance in this world must be felt by all the others. Because we are all like one community. If we succeed then we succeed all together. If we fail we fail all together.
