I am just learning Arcgis online ( i am not a GIS Tech, just need to review some features and share maps)...you video is very useful. I will try to find others.
Thanks - really helpful to clarify that when upload a .SHP, and want to have AGOL read it as a Feature Layer (and not a zipped .SHP). you have to upload direct to webmap and not the My Content section. Not sure why this functionality resorts to this and it overly complicates a simple task....
excusme sir, i got some hole in my shapefile, how can i fix it? i got my shapefile by digitize it by myself, when i open it in arcgis pro thre is no hole, but in arcgis online there are some hole in my shapefile, can you help me please?
Trying to import a KML file full of shapefiles that make up a city's utility lines. Does this require ArcGIS pro or will this work with ArcGIS online enterprise version?
Thanks for creating this video! It's super helpful. Have you tried this with the new Map Viewer in ArcGIS Online? I imported a shapefile into Map Viewer Classic, saved it as a feature layer to my content. But I am unable to see it as an option to add to the map in the New Map Viewer.

After saving it as a feature layer, on the new map add item from content and you should find it.
