A few things: I didn't make this video. I found it a while ago and had a hunch it would get taken down at some point, so I saved it. Sure enough it disappeared so as promised I put it back.
The reason I post this is because the tiresome "greatness debate" which basketball has mutated into has devolved into simplistic numerical comparison, and ignores the more important aspects of team basketball, character, and motivation.
This video is not hate, it is a critique of leadership in tough situations. If they put the debate down, i love the guy. But if you're going to argue greatness, you can't overlook this.

Unfortunately, for the past 5+ years, all LeBron has cared about is padding his stats. It is obvious on wide-open plays where a teammate will pass it to LeBron just for LeBron to pass it back for the assist. It is obvious when the rest of the team stands around so LeBron can get an uncontested rebound. It is obvious when in garbage minutes, a teammate with an easy layup will instead pass it to LeBron so he can brick a 3. It is obvious when his teammates on offense will allow LeBron to switch defender matchups just so he can be paired with the smallest man on the opponent's team.

I can't think of anyone at all. Dominique, Barkley, Bird, Dr J, Magic, Kareem - that's the time to be fully engaged.
From a basketball perspective, a player's perspective, this is the time to be locked in, and he's clocked out.
#s don't determine greatness. This idea that if you stack the numbers high enough eventually you "pass" the greatest.
This is a media construct, and it uses branding tactics to build a fan base, and eventually shout down and breed out dissent.
The game has not just just taken back seat, but is in the back of the bus to the click bait articles, bets, star making, political pundits, branding, and advertising.
Now we have entered the era of Bonny Prince Bronny. In an era where the talent in the US has never been higher, we are going to choke that out in favor of child celebrity.

      WS (win shares)
which is a statistic that estimates how many wins a player contributes to their team. Win Shares are based on a player's offensive and defensive contributions throughout the season, and are assigned as a "share" of the team's total wins for the season. Each win share a player earns represents one win contributed to the team's total record for the season. For example, if a team wins 60 games, there are 180 Win Shares to distribute among the players.
Win Shares are intended to represent player value, rather than player ability. Some believe that credit should not be assigned purely based on team wins because team exceeding or falling short of its Pythagorean expectation is generally acknowledged as chance.

Lebron averaged 34.0 points, 9.1 rebounds and 9.0 assists in 22 game during the playoffs
LeBron was unstoppable in the clutch. He was 5-of-6 (83%) on shots to tie or take the lead in the final minute of the 4th quarter, including 2 buzzer-beaters
He outperformed two all stars while against the raptors he had 136 points 33 rebounds 45 assist 57-103 fg
      Demar derozan & Kyle Lowry 138 points 30 rebounds 46 assists 53-108
The Celtics were 37-0 all-time when up 2-0 in a 7-game series until lebron during the 7 game series lebron had 3 40+ games with a triple double
LeBron James was everything for the Cavs. Only 40 times a player contributed to 50 or more points (points and assists) in a 2018 postseason game. LeBron was 17 of them. He played 22 postseason games.
Lebron per rating in 2018 was also higher than any playoff run mj had in his career
And at that time the top 20 for the highest per for a playoff run 6 of them were lebron james currently lebron holds 2 7 16
Mj is known for how clutch he is and during his career he's had 3 playoff buzzer beaters
Lebron had 2 playoff buzzer beaters in a 10 day span
LeBron had 8 40-point games in the 2018 postseason, the most by any player ever in a single postseason. Even more impressive - he shot over 50% in all 8 of these games. In two of these games he shot 70% from the field.
Leading up to the Finals, LeBron faced elimination 3 times. In those games, LeBron went 3-0 and averaged 42 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists.
In the 2018 playoffs LeBron had two times the amount of triple doubles than mj had in his entire career
Yes, in 13 playoff runs, MJ had half the amount of triple-doubles as LeBron had in one. LeBron having 4 triple doubles and mj in his career having 2
      LeBron was also 1 assist/rebound away from a triple-double 3 times.
      One Assist/Rebound Away:
Game 6 vs. Boston: 46 points, 9 assists, 11 rebounds
Game 7 at Boston: 35 points, 9 assists, 15 rebounds
Game 2 at Golden State: 29 points, 13 assists, 9 rebounds
It was a different NBA back then, but this is still amazing. 4 playoff triple-doubles is more than some of the NBA’s finest have in their entire career:
The Cavaliers only made it the the nba playoffs because of lebron here's a quote from Shannon Sharpe
“Not magic, Not Jordan, not Larry, Not Kevin durant, Not stephan curry - - even in the east - - No one in the history of the game, other than Lebron James, could of gotten this team to the Finals”
The Cavaliers had the second worst defense in the entire league barely beating out the 21 wins sun's
Leading up to the Finals, LeBron faced elimination 3 times. In those games, LeBron went 3-0 and averaged 42 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists.
Lebron had the worst team possible and the year after he left the team didn't change one bit and this was there
      Record:
      2017-18 (with LeBron): 50-32 (61% winning percentage)
      2018-19 (without LeBron): 19-63 (23% winning percentage)
      Finished:
2017-18 (with LeBron): Eastern Conference Champions, NBA Finals appearance
2018-19 (without LeBron): 14th in the East, missed playoffs
      Points Per Game:
      2017-18 (with LeBron): 110.9 (5th of 30)
      2018-19 (without LeBron): 104.5 (29th of 30)
      Offensive Rating:
      2017-18 (with LeBron): 112.9 (5th of 30)
      2018-19 (without LeBron): 107.7 (25th of 30)
This is one of many examples of LeBron doing more with less

I dont know what to say maybe he shoulds have done that and tried to play ball, he also felt though that his teammates were lackluster and unmotivated himself

The best complication of exposing LeBron’s weak and soft mentality.

its crazy because you managed to find 7 clips over 21 years of him quitting on his team, and most of them aren't even him quitting on his team its just so bad iq plays. its crazy what people will do to hate on lebron these days, mainly on youtube.

James is trash. The most entitled, lazy player ever. So much potential and skill, true. No doubt. He just doesn't have that mindset of Jorden, Kobe, Bird - the greats. He doesn't have it.
