In the lab when you are mini in the spider area theres a golden ball or egg with some kind of bug inside, what to do with it?

It is a missing artifact for the museum and can be returned there or you can sell it for money at one of the treasure hunters locations.

I did not realize it at the time, but the present hat is obtained when you get 51 presents and it just happened to be that one at the time.

I cant get the earth hat for some reason when im in the middle of spraying water it just stops spinning and thhe fires go out

Yeah you have to put all the fires out before it stops spinning. It basically has a timer that you cant see.
