omg Patreon is up now!! I feel the same way about money. I found that money was like shackles once i hit 40. I am now 100x more happy without worrying about money. I need enough to support myself and that's it. I'm considered below the poverty level by quite a bit but I can pay my bills, rent, and car insurance. I live alone so no one to help share the load but I am happier alone. :) I think what you said about money is very important and people should really consider the impact money has on their life.

It is crazy how some people view money but I understand what you are saying.
Money is something that is always moving; it has momentum and it is either growing or shrinking!
With the success of HYBE, $$$ is growing and that what ALL businesses want.
People know the story of how BTS / BangPD struggled to get to where they are and I hope one day SK will see stories like this as inspiration and not something to judge them on. (Also the fact that BTS contributes so much to the SK economy should be an incentive to change their views for the good and not bad).

I love your videos. You always have a level head and explain things fully for those that need understanding. So thank you very much. Having said all that, BTS members - all seven - tell us to trust them, and so I do. I don't care if HYBE becomes the biggest conglomerate in the world. BTS are under Bighit Music and are not on the board of directors, so they don't make these decisions. But make no mistake. They know what they're doing as individuals and a group. Anyone that has a problem with this just wants to have something to hate, besides themselves. Yes, BTS made HYBE possible, yet HYBE continues to grow and expand and that's what winners do. I have faith that OT7 are okay with this and so should ARMY be. If you're not on board, get off board! 💜

I really appreciate your insight on all of your contents.
I agree with you on money making or changing people. It really doesn’t matter how much money you have at the end of the day. The most humble people I know is full of money and those that are not are lacking the money are also lacking humbleness, when they should be the most humble in order to change their outcome. Anyway, again thank you.

I find it ever more puzzling at how to reasonably support BTS....programs on Disney+, J Hope on the Street on Amazon Prime, the B21 series with actors will be on some platform I never heard of, Sugar in very select movie theatres. I really wonder where they think this will go, it all seems so fragmented. Do they really think Army has limitless money? It really feels too difficult to all these divergent paths. How will it affect BTS? A true LOL during that irreverent segment. So much joy!😂
Yes, money is merely a tool. Money itself is not the issue. It's the love of money that is the root of all evil. That means that a poor man who covets money and a rich man that hoards money are both sinful. If you keep your hands open to keep the money to you, and through you, you won't have any issues. If you think that a certain dollar amount, a certain fancy car, and a certain mansion will make you happy, you'll become very depressed once you obtain them when you realize how little they add value to your life after the newness wears off.

There is nothing more unnerving, false and shallow than thinking that BTS owns Hybe because thanks to their talent, they allowed Hybe to grow This way. As the saying goes « Render unto Caesar that which is to Caesar’s ».
BTS members know more than anyone of their fans, what they owe to Big Hit (Hybe), and vice versa. BTS wouldn’t have existed without Big Bang, and Big Bang wouldn’t have made it without BTS.
That you don’t agree about what Hybe has become, so be it. But that’s the name of the game. Let it go
Therefore, enough of these silly and petty calculations that are not constructive to the debate.

It was not a concert, but a compilation of performances. But it's still an amazing feeling from the big screen: someone was singing loudly, shouting in the cinema hall. I CRIED from the overflow of emotions. Suga's creativity is so deep that I drown in it.
Music for the general public is a business. In order for the creative side (BTS) to develop freely, the material side must also develop (conglomerate). It is surprising when do not understand this.

For example the creativity of Agust D's concerts is possible because HYBE is that big.
When I watched the stage alone I marvel at it:
how all this pieces are lifted up during the show bit by bit after certain performances.
There was alcohol given out for free (whiskey?).
In Seoul another big place was rented out so that fans could wait in the shade while also checked in for the concert itself.
They couldn't do that when they were smaller.

But PD is a very shrewd businessman, and a visionary who takes huge calculated risks that somehow pay off. Big! Its no wonder the boys have complete trust in his leadership. I look forward to a more fulfilling relationship between them. They've come a long way, *together* 😊.

**This is gonna be super long. This, for me, has been really upsetting and frustrating. I hope you read the whole thing and maybe think about tackling it.**
On the topic of money, etc. I would love to hear your take on [fan content and copyright].
Tldr: ranting about Hybe being money grubbing bstards punishing army for paying tribute to bts.
I watched a presentation from Bang Si-Hyuk-nim. In it he made an important point. Dont quote me here cause my memory sucks lol. But he talked about the first time they saw a reaction video by a famous TH-camr. That all the sudden it drew in massive amounts of attention and new Army. And then they realized the true power of diverse social media. He was very positive about the impact.
Ok. So one of the reasons i came to be an Army was by one of the various reaction videos out there. I got addicted withouy even hearing their music. I thought they were hilarious.
Now theyve copyright claimed the hell out of reaction videos. It was minor at first. Just the most egregious offenders. Now they are so bad that any reaction videos are completely fragmented and almost unwatchable.
TH-cam will straight up block an upload if it feels like too much. Then you get audio removed. If you keep going then your channel has the chance of being demonetized.
So, TH-cam, literally being the main source for the fandom, Hybe is now punishing Army for positive fan content. That
A: brings curious people into the fandom. B: increases retention by constantly engaging fans with new and interesting content.
C: Encourages more Army content creators on all platforms. This causes buzz of course leading back to A.
Ok, so now a lot of fan content has been gutted even after they take the copyright claim and just want to post their content. A lot being almost unwatchable. Channels demonetized. Oh and the removal of physical fan art installations.
They suddenly decided to "demand the dismantling and the removal of BTS-themed sculptures and murals". These types of things are not profitting so wth is going on here? These types of things draw tourists and also attracts curious people into the fandom.
Korea boasts that BTS brings 5 to 8 trillion won into the tourism industry. They removed the BTS SPRING DAY BUS STOP. Think about that. The bus stop has nothing on it to indicate bts (that i know of). It was a massive tourist attraction for photos since 2018. Bringing tons of revenue to Gangeung tourist industry helping all businesses to thrive. Its always good to spread prosperity to small businesses. It only HELPS Korea. I wonder how many people decide not to go because a lot of tourist attractions torn down.
The city protested and asked to negotiate but were firmly denied and other locations too like Busan. Mural in Daegu dedicated to Suga and V, hometown.
A massive attraction for Army's visiting Korea for the first time. Driving around for all the cool photo zones. Who doesnt want to get a picture sitting in the Spring Day bus stop? Gone. Now what do they get to see? The Hybe building?
All of what I mentioned here are demonstating the love we have for BTS. These are beautiful tributes they ripped out, painted over or deleted. How is that bad?
Why isnt Korea doing something about this? Yes, these are real copyright concerns. But you have to do the math. Theyve been supportive of fan made content for years.
Everything they have done is punishing the fandom. A giant portion of Army can attributed to all these things. Social media is literally their bread and butter.
So why? They are costing Korea millions in tourism. They are removing content that draws in Army and by nature generates retention and engagement. Copyright is one thing but they got to try to find middle ground that isnt punishing the fandom.
Okay i could go on forever but im seriously pssed off. Why are there no protests? They protest stupid crp. There is no outcry. Its silently happening all the time and their methods are becoming so restrictive that making a reaction video just isnt worth it.
    Im just so frustrated.
Ok end of rant. But consider this, Hybe started doing this right after the boys were all enlisted. Do you guys think that bts would approve? Bts and BigHit have always been generous with free content. They have always put Army first. Now we are being punished for expressing our love for bts in various ways. Do the boys know? Do they know and cant prevent it.
The destruction of priceless tributes to BTS. Painting over murals is permanent. Punishing social media content creators and fans.
Omg this took forever to write on my stupid phone and shaking hands. I was hoping you would be interested in tackling this subject? Literally no one is talking about this. They are harassing Hybe over stupid crap. But no one seems to notice this erosion that Hybe is quietly causing. No one protesting the destruction of priceless art installation. Im super upset. 😢
    Thank you 💜

I noticed the censorship too, I was surprised they did it. I really enjoyed the movie and was psyched up all night. The showing I watched however did not have the subtitles turned on, and although I know all the songs some of my friends were experiencing SUGA for the first time. The entire movie was in Korean. The entire audience got special passes to see another showing but jeez, what a disappointment.

@@fifiroukine5331 I hate censorship. But I also understand having the cursing in the movie would've changed the rating of the movie. Having it PG allows for younger fans to also see the movie.

BTS can still OPT OUT of Dynamic Pricing which would be a great amazing help to ARMY!!!
    I hope they consider this.

      Why?
This channel has also a vid on dynamic pricing. I think you do not quiet understand it (and neither did I).
But why would "they" opt out when so many people are going to try to buy a ticket anyway?
Quiet a few are even going to pay high scalper ticket prices.
The last stadium concerts for multiple days were sold out in pre-sales.
They deserve every little coin they earn.

The success story of Bang and BTS is the Korean-American dream come true as the underdogs won. I am not sure of the new associations with very evil entertainment despots in the US that always reward becoming a part of their groups. Does one really want a Puff Daddy scandal to hit K-Pop?

other companies should also have bangPD's mindset - take care of their artists, protect them, and make sure they have what they need to create their art. the money and fame will come later. not the other way around where they care for the money first, and to hell with the mental and physical wellbeing of their artists.

I just wished the crowd I was with had been more active.
      I did get two stickers.
But there were only 2 Armybombs and it was pretty silent - except when the other members came in.
I was so amused that they censored "shibal!"

@@ruthfischer7615 There was no censership in the UK cinema I went to but it was so quite and the 3 people seating one sit away were on their mobile phones the hold time while munching away. It was past the watershed any way the showing I went to eg the it started after 9pm.

3:35 Chaebol's are mainly old money, (generational wealth) BTS members are new money (Rich but not born rich) & I don't think any of them are interested in running a business tho. So them becoming a chaebol is unlikely. Though obviously they can if they want to, but the question is would they?
I don't mind if they become one, but I also don't mind if they don't, as long as they're happy & healthy.

Not everyone, though, based on what i've seen when I travelled to the US, especially in San Francisco. Old guards of malls let them go for fear of being killed or attacked by the perpetrators.

@@sylviabondoc3870 OMG I live in San Francisco! This is fake news BS. These raids happened a couple times across the US and I'm glad the guards did nothing. I would not want them to risk their lives for some stupid stuff. But guess what? They started tracking people down and locking them up and suddenly they're not happening anymore. When's the last one you heard of? My point is, shoplifters are getting arrested all the time. Sure, a few get away with it but that happens everywhere in the world. Check your statistics.
