Man, you have some excellent and underrated picks here - it's hard to choose, because there's so many that I would want to hear finished, but I'll pick my top 3: 1) Gerudo Valley - Okay, I know this theme isn't by any means underrated, but I _really_ like the approach you took there, with the pizzicato plucks, and those low-octave nylon guitars providing that constant rhythm... it sounds so unique, and in a good way! And I really like the rhythm mix-ups in the repeat verse. This one has a ton of potential, for sure! 2) Underground Theme (SMW) - I love the direction you're taking this in, and it's such a creative approach, with the alternating 8th note plucks and keeping the bass note constant throughout - a cool technique, indeed! The piano really works nicely there, too, and I'm looking forward to hearing what a more complete version would sound like! 3) Dungeon Theme (LoZ) - Okay, this one just sounds plain sick. I love that unrelenting rhythm in the bass, where it sounds kind of like a digi or tube bass... it's just so deep and satisfying! And the portamento synths is perfect for the lead melody, with those crystal arpeggios and the sawtooth chords... it's just an excellent blend of synths, and it captures the feeling of the original dungeon atmosphere perfectly! Honorable mention goes to Count Bleck's theme for the excellent samba/rhumba/idk rhythm and those super-nice 808 hits with that offset rhythm. Again, it's hard to pick, but these tracks particularly stood out to me. I think the idea of posting your unfinished tracks is fantastic, and maybe this will inspire others in the VGM community to do the same? I'd sure love to see some WIP's from people in our ever-expanding group of remixers. Thanks for sharing these, ILM, and I hope you had a great holiday break. It's back to the grind soon for many of us, but I think everyone is more motivated than ever to produce more music in 2022! Happy New Year! 🌟
