Hey thanks. I just ordered some Kamiks because I needed something quick but I'm not sure yet how long they will last me yet. I was continuing to look for something higher-end and had settled on Baffin but these look right up my alley. Most likely going to go for these if/when my Kamiks fail.
I have a pair of these boots and they are indeed the best winter boot in my opinion as well. I treated the leather with a couple of coats of Obenauf's and hand worked the leather until it was super soft. the comfort of these boots is unreal. Highly recommend.
Yeah I have feet trouble like that. Also, when your kid you go to the creek, your feet are going to get wet, walking home Converse tennis shoes with jeans the bottom of jeans completely Frozen and the top of your shoes also, I've had a problem with my feet ever since I'm going to try Hoffman boots
I bought a pair based off this review. I wear and 11 and purchased same and rhey fit great. Only issue i have is how tight they seem to be around the leg. I cant fit my jeans inside if i wanted. I have about 4” of space between laces when laced up. Is this normal? Hoping the leather stretches out.
I also live here in Northern Alberta & use the Hoffman Voyager model, and it too would a great boot to look at. I love them for November hunts and hiking. For cold weather sits, I prefer Steger Mukluks.
@stephananstey2522 I just added the link. I also have an extra set of wool felts that I bought from The Felt Store felts in the boots. They appear to the exact same that the boot come with.
I have permanent damage in my feet from frostbite so I'm prone to cold feet. Work in rail and need an insulated option steel toe. Ordered mine 2 days ago. Customer service is top tier and I'm excited to have a more comfortable winter.
I’ve had several 12+ hr sits in around zero temps. Not an issue. Which is what would normally force me to get on my feet. I can’t tell you how great these boots are
Double insulated meaning the bottoms of the boot. The surround of the foot AND you have the removable felt insulation bootie. The temp rating is tricky. I see a lot of companies like muck or attic rating their boots and it is laughable. To say a pair of foam insulated rubber boots will last to -40 is an out right lie. Maybe, maybe if you are constantly on your feet and have a badass pair of merino socks you change frequently as you sweat. Give the Hoffmann a try. You’ll love them.
Did you order them with standard build time and they came in three days or did you pay for the three day make up time? I think I’m going to order a pair they look good and I’ve read all good things about them.
Just ordered a pair of these to replace my 28 year old lacrosse iceman’s. Looking forward to trying them out this winter. I ordered the 14” kinda double guessing myself, thinking I should have went shorter maybe. How tall is your pair?
Looking at these boots.I have cold feet.I wear 10.5 EE wide in leather boots .From your review it sounds like i wont have trouble with them being wide enough.Correct? They dont come in a EE or wide width. That worrys me.Thanks.Good review.
I'm a size 13.5 EE/14 depending on the brand, so big and wide like your feet. Are these in the video a 14 and how does the sizing seem to be, true or oversized/undersized?

Great review, live in Northern Alberta Canada. Just finished the season here and it's -30c already and I've been looking for a quality warm boot.

@ right on, I'll check em out.

You will not regret it!
Question is.... Do you sit a long time with these boots on? Lots of boots not insulated very well will keep your feet warm while walking a lot..

They are double insulated but what does the at mean? What temps are they rated for?
Wish they was a little more specific in there details.
Double insulated meaning the bottoms of the boot. The surround of the foot AND you have the removable felt insulation bootie.

I went with the 3 day and they shipped the next morning.
What size work boots in redwing or danner do you wear?
I wear a 14EE in Danners

Man I love them. I got the 12” pair and have since ordered the std in a 10”. You’ll be fine. Maybe have some hot calves though! Happy hunting!
Why these and not the schnees?

I wear a 2E or 4E sometimes and they more than adequate. Buy with confidence.
@@TLHyoutube Thanks!

They are a little oversized. I’m a 14 and there’s room in these. I’ve put a ton of miles on them. No issues. I can wear a wool sock with no tightness.
How are they in the summer?
