First of all I enjoy your videos very much thank you. EQD has some very brilliant pedals but can someone please explain to me how this would be good on bass guitar. They are very expensive pedals idk if it would have much use . Open to her feedback. I'm not being negative just serious
Bought this pedal a couple years ago when it first came out. I love it as the 'weirdo' pedal on my board, and the one that means every time I use it, I'll have a different result. Some of the EQD settings for it on their instagram account are solid useful weird combos. There is no end to it, and I'll never get tired of what it can or might do. This is a pedal that was described to me as "you play to the pedal and let it do what it's going to do."
This is the 6th video I've watched with 'bass' in the title trying to figure out if this pedal works with BASS. Every single one goes straight for the 15th fret and nobody spends any serious time with the lower strings. Makes me think this pedal doesn't really work for bass, and would be completely useless with an extended range down to B or lower.
100% accurate, I don’t want to get another modulation/synth sound that eliminates my low end, there’s demos of a million different mixes and the one guy that played a little on the E/A strings cut out everything but fuzz on the pedal, so far I’m not convinced it will play anything else where I like to play my bass, which even on my SRF705 that goes all the way to the 30 “frets ”, is less than halfway down the fretboard. Imagine jamming with a guitarist and drummer and you’re just playing 12-24 on D/G, that’s a real rhythm section right there, may as well pick up a strat and start noodling. I get these pedals are hard to dial in and even more so on the low end, but it’s not useful, other than sending me down a rabbit hole again to find a different pedal that may have a demo that shows it kinda does Bass guitar too.
