I can’t remember which video but she did at least explain the options wish I could find it for you. I believe an option is to do the swab yourself and another one. Can’t wait for her video to come out!

I’m with you…kinda. Been putting off the visits for way too long (years) because I have panic attacks even trying to call to make the appointment. I wish they could come to your house. Although even that might not help. Sorry I’m not helping with your anxiety. I fully agree that this suuuuuucks. Going to my PCP, my blood pressure is at minimum 138/95. And I’m on BP meds and keeping my clothes on. So if I have to get naked and spreadeagle on a table in stirrups? Nah. I can’t. I’m getting upset just thinking about it. I just despise it so much. Why does it have to be so invasive and embarrassing? I’m hoping videos like this will help but so far I feel like I’d be bolting outta that place like a frightened deer. Do I know in my brain it’s just an exam? Yes. Do I know the doc has seen all kinds of stuff? Yep. Do I know it’s important for my health? Sure do. Does any of that mean I want to go to the gyno? No. Giving birth was traumatic enough. I’m good.
Can we get a sister POV soon? Or maybe another specialist medical visit roleplay?? Or a face measuring one again??? Always love your videos either way!!

It’s just painful, embarrassing, and makes me sweaty and anxious. Don’t even get me started on mammograms and colonoscopies. Being a human sucks sometimes.

Indeed. I had to go for this a while ago for this. It probably will be great for others to know how such an exam is handled. I went with my boyfriend and got more sexual questions before the exam. During the exam, my doctor was very considerate and even went to fetch a smaller, virginal speculum.
Can you please make a video where the patient has severe pelvic pain and has a hard time with pelvic exams and you discuss their options for treatment?
I have to say as someone from the UK a lot of this is stuff very new to me becuase unless you ask for a referral to a gynaecologist this stuff doesn't happen.
