Repeating after isn't necessary, but certainly helps. The more behavior you involve in the affirmations (listening, speaking, writing), the more they will cement into your consciousness. Simply listening also works, but you have to be consistent. I listen to affirmations literally every chance I get every day (in the car, folding laundry, working out, etc) so that I have a constant programming input of triumphant positivity.
There's a difference between visualization and subconscious reprogramming. I have slowed down newer ones since most people are listening during the day, but this one is meant to be listened to at night. The subconscious will track much faster information than this, the key is repetition and consistency. Visualization only works after you've reprogrammed subconscious limiting beliefs.
