Hope you guys are doing good and have cool plans for the the end of the year :)
I wanted to build something that would feel freezing so I tried my best to use a very limited color pallet in order for everything to look almost icy. I was very inspired by Daniel Merriam's art, be sure to check him out!

For the love of anything holy, do not place the build on a lot without permanent snow, I have no idea what it looks like without the snow, and quite frankly, judging by how horribly it looks on the world map preview already, I do not wanna see that up close :D (The build is placed on the top right lot in Komorebi)
The build is actually pretty playable, apart from the fact that there isn't enough counter space in the kitchen for the sims to be able to prep their food and that the shower behind the waterfall thingy is not accessible, but thats an easy fix if you'd like to play in this build. And I guees only a child could access the reading nook (but that's EA's fault for having buggy roofs and forcing me to hide the clipping roof under a platform this high lol).

This is so magical! I audibly gasped at the shower behind the waterfall, it's so charming! The overall aesthetic kind of reminds me of russian fairytales I heard as a child, so beautiful and fancy :DD

Thanks! I sometimes wish I had a way to talk about my builds a little bit more than just in the description but I don’t really like speed builds with voiceovers either! At the end of the day, the build should speak for itself :)

I’m always so impressed by ur architectural details, I’m new to sims and feel like from you I learn so much about building and expand my conception of what is possible to make within the game
Thank you so much! I definitely encourage you to try recreating some of those architectural elements. I myself started to learn some of the more tricky stuff in the sims by taking inspiration or straight up recreating parts of other people’s builds! You’ll be figuring out your own ideas on how to implement certain designs in your builds in no time!

@@saeryal Ah some ASMRtists upload a video with music, and an identical one without - you could always do something similar, upload a version with music and a version with voiceover? Hahaha I have no cure for sounding awkward at first, but if it is something you ever want to try, I'd be the first to listen, especially if it's ramble :D! Your builds always inspire me and I'd love to hear more about them
