1. When extra ghee was put to roast coriander she only smiled
2. When the masala was ground fine instead of course and given to her, she smiled

In my opinion don't add curry leaves.
Why all are adding curry leaves to all non veg dishes in coastal region now a days?
What she prepared is authentic Karnataka coastal style sukka. Olden days no one used curry leaves for non veg items. It's Kerala style.
Curry leaves is only to enhance the flavour for vegetarian recipes. For non vegetarian dishes masala is different and the meat or fish itself gives distinct flavour when masala is mixed. Never loose our authenticity.
