For my amazon private label business,can I just list the name and address of my u.s. manufacturer instead of my home address on the packaging?

Yes, you do still have to list your address even if it is your home address if you're in the US; the street address listed must be the actual physical location at which the business is located.
Thank you, Marie! Your book has been extremely helpful. Will you be expanding your repertoire to include how a manufacturing area must be set up to meet FDA regulations? Like storage at least 5 inches off the ground, etc etc. I am having trouble finding lights that have cages around the light bulbs!
I don't see any requirement of caged lightbulbs in the US FDA guidelines.

Not sure which book you are referring to since I have yet to read her GMP book, though I have it.

I mean, I'll follow the fda rules before anyone else's, lol, but that is where I got the whole caged light bulb info.
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I'm pretty busy, but wow. I'm wondering if that inspector was applying some FDA regulations for the production of drugs, given the soaper made drug claims on her products.
Drug production requires registration and regular inspections, and she made it clear she's expecting more visits. The cleanliness standards for a squeaky clean lab facility are that which few soap makers can abide by. Thus, the sleeves/cages for light fixtures, I'm guessing.

Is liquid soap with color & fragrance & glitter considered a cosmetic?
Robin L soap as long as you don’t say it cleanses or moisturizes isn’t a cosmetic. If you do, it’s a cosmetic
If it has sulfates or detergents in it, it's considered a cosmetic.
Do bath bombs fall under this categorization?
Yes-bath bombs are considered to be a cosmetic.
