I gotta say thank you to Stray Kids for flipping my shitty day upside down and making it one of the best days from my time on this channel, it's something that they've been doing ever since the very beginning when I first reacted to Thunderous and had troubles in my life, time and time again, they made me feel better. Thank you.
I must say, I have never regretted becoming a STAY. Skz make me happy, I would never have guessed how much they affect my mood and made me a better person (learnt not to get into fan war bait 🫶❤❤ I hope your day gets better ❤

Well, if you take a look at the carpet from the MV in the start where all the fluffy hearts are running, ITS THE CARPET FROM "THE SHINING!" The horror movie! And the heart maze and all the mazes in the MV is the maze from the "Shining". But in this case, the love is trying to take over them and the police is deciding whether they should allow this love cause they have been hurt in the past. In the end, they give in to the love! 🤭
Yeah, this was my interpretation of this when I watched this.

When I first watched this I thought on The Shinning and the feelings/logic and reason.
When I showed this song to my boyfriend (that isn't into this kind of music and usually never reads the lyrics) and he said that the colorful dressed, the marine ones and the black dressed are themselves. And the police is the system, the public opinion. He said the song is clearly speaking about free love and facing the public opinion. Whether it's about a forbidden relationship or just liking a person that's frown upon...
The way Stray Kids save our days is just different, right?

I just watched Jordan Orme’s reaction and he pointed out that the mv references The Shining with the carpet, the hole in the door, and the maze. It really adds another layer to the mv when you look at it through that lens.
I just saw the thumbnail to Jordan's video so the Shinning Reference was cool as hell (interesting phrasing on my part hehe) looking forward to learning more about the MV from him!
I love how SKZ production team really take the time to plan their MVs out to tell a story and keep us engaged and entertained. This is also an absolutely genius way to keep viewers/fandom watching and keep them trying to figure out all the hidden meanings in videos. More MV views and I’m totally here for it. I think I am on view 100 not counting reaction videos. SKZ all around the 🌎!

when skz do a theme, they go all in. i don't normally like these cutesy lovey dovey themes.. but they just manage to do it in such a cool way. i have never seen a love theme being done like this before. it just makes you feel in love yourself. they really know how to make song and to show it visually!!

I know it´s been some time but i just tought about it now sooo~
I was watching All In video and I think maybe it has something to do with case 143 because in that MV there is two versions of stray kids just like it is here. The police version and the criminals who stole gold from somewhere and cause trouble. It may not be related at all but that´s it.
I´m sorry if it´s difficult to understand what i wrote since english isn´t my first language.

Unpopular Opinion:
JYP, 3racha or whoever was in charge really messed up Stray Kids' release schedule for this year. Dont get me wrong Case 143 is a good song, but it would have been way better as a fresh spring/early summer release followed by Maniac now. Both songs have an anti drop with Felix deep voice as the chorus and selling point. But Maniac's chorus just hits way harder. So for the follow up comeback I wanted something even harder hitting or something completely different with not the same chorus structure again. But instead we got the songs in this order and since I already listened to Maniac a hundred times the Case 143 chorus just doesn't satisfy me. The verses are good, I like the bridge even when we have the recurring issue with Seungmin's vocals not really getting utilizes like in most SKZ's title tracks, but the chorus feels lackluster at best to me and is the weakest part of the song.
I understand what you're trying to say, but you do a tour based on an album that would have the best impact to fill seats. While Maxident does have a fresher feel for a spring/summer release, they had announced earlier they would do 2 albums and a tour. You put out the album that would make the most impact to sell tickets to a show...you also put out what is ready first.
I like that it isn't using the typical 'darker songs' cause it's autumn bs and light songs in summer...it breaks the formulaic method in K-pop where everything ends up sounding the same given the season.
I do feel case143 isn't better than other songs in the ep that are superior, I would've rather have chill as the title but I feel this one also works
