I rode that old girl out the door in VF 101 with Northrop Grumman Field support. I loved that plane and miss it dearly. 13 years I spent with the old turkey. Fair winds and following seas old girl.
Like seeing an old friend again. The F-14 was the first fighter plane I ever saw up close, I was hooked from then on, not only to all fast fighters but the old 'Cat in particular. May the Tomcats influecne on carrier fighter design be felt throught the rest of time.
Scientifically, it had a better range and better radar, but only just. But spiritually it's much stronger.. All of its pilots loved it and there are thousands of Tomcat fans around the world!!! It's just a perfectly design plane...like the Concorde.
Beutifull footage! And the music was well chosen! I like a lot Queen, but i am fanatic of the Tomcat, so i rate it 5 stars... Very well edited! The end in the sunset with two tomcats looks like the end of the great movie Top Gun, but at sea with an aircraft carrier. Well done, mate! :)
the f-14 when you put full afterburners on it has the sound of the sound barrier being broken and vapor on the wings when you pull high g's but no affect for the actual braking of the sound barrier
Guys, F-14 Tomcat stop the service for U.S Navy, that doesn't mean it gone forever. Other states and country still use the F-14 Tomcat. F-14 GOOOOO ALL THE WAY!!!!!

If you have flight deck 3 (but it will most likely be the same for the other versions), you have to do the following: 1) Make sure Arrcab is running and that it connects with FS. 2) Go to a launchspot and park it so that a wall behind you is coming up. 3) Press Ctrl + . 4) Enable Launchmode by pressing Ctrl + F9. 5) Catapult yourself by releasing the brakes!

i was on the nimitz in 83-87 vf-84 jolly rogers.the video is good except for the part where the island has the no.69.that is the eisenhower not the nimitz. AQ3 Hynds.
