What EGO item would you like to see in another upcoming video?
A double barrel backpack blower! Yah!
@@paedahe4975 😎👍
@@MarkThomasBuilder Maybe someday. Dual motors, increased CFM’s. If the dimensions were right, it wouldn’t be cumbersome. An argument would be, why not just use a bigger motor instead of two?
As years go by, companies will brainstorm on making “The Newest and Greatest”. EGO is at the forefront of blower tech and it will be interesting to see where they go next.
Yeah, 100%! There's quite a bit of competition in this space, so hopefully that will accelerate the innovation ideas.

such a cool mower!
It's fun to drive!
wow that is really marvelous
👍
Mark’s good driving, the mower, or Ole’ Barnaby? 🤔😆😂
i have the push mower and weed trimmer...i love them both. absolute game changer
same. I have them both and love them.
*_Great overview, Thanks @Clarkthomasbuiler!_*
Thanks Vance, I wish I could've got there earlier to see the drama that TRZ was talking about.
It looks like a bumper car at the fair / Amusement park!
They should give you all six batteries when they sell it too not just only four.
Does it have warranty if it catches on fire or explodes? DeWalt demo was on fire 🔥.
Yep, that's covered under warranty. I believe 5yr residential, 2yr commercial.
This needs one more generation of development before I’d be ready to buy. I’d want a 60” deck and 5 acres of range.
I like this idea. A 60" mower would be awesome!
Needs a small back seat for the kiddo, and we're good!
Haha, that would be interesting.
LOL too funny
But how well does it mow on hills? My guess is that it performs just as poorly on hills as regular zero-turn mowers given that the battery pack is on the rear, and has small wheels on the front.
Come on everybody. It's a tortoise and a hare.
Hahah😂
Hey look, its ole Barnaby! No comment! 🙄
In case no one knew, Mark did some Kart racing number of years ago. 🤔😆😂 Driving that thing like a BOSS! Geesh that thing runs fast! Cant imagine getting a good cut going that quickly, but hey, when ya done cutting, gets ya back quickly to a cold glass of Beer, Lemonade, w/e. 😆
This WILL be the future, it’s inevitable, like it or not. Ima stick with Gas for now, TYVM. It does have an appealing aspect with the low maintenance aspects, especially no oil to change, but more so the lack of belts to have to fool with. Battery technology will continue to evolve, and it needs to; Imagine having to replace a few of those batteries at some point, especially if out of warranty period!?! 👍👊✌😊
It was fun taking that mower for a spin, lol. I was impressed how fast the batteries can be charged. I'll have to do the math to see how much the mower costs along with several batteries.
1.5" minimum cut is a deal killer for me because my lawn grass requires .75" or less. What were they thinking?
Wow, .75 is short. I'm guessing if it's too low, some people with bumpy lawns will scalp everything and possibly damage the blades, motors, etc.
@@MarkThomasBuilder Any mower will scalp if set too low, regardless of the minimum blade height. Better to have lower settings and not need them than need them and not have them! If bermudagrass, centipede, and zoysia grasses aren't cut low enough, they may not thrive.
@@Bob_Adkins That's a good point to be considered. My lawn is in Kentucky Bluegrass and normally cut around 3 inches.
@@MarkThomasBuilder If I let my grass get that tall, my HOA would have a cow! 🙂
i got one today
Oh nice! Let me know how it works out for you.
I want a 30 inch deck.
Sounds like a size that would really zip around the obstacles and fit between the fence gates.
I'd love to get an electric mower but I don't think they are great when mowing hills. I have a pretty large hill in backyard.
I've ran several zero turn mowers and the 61" Scag Turf Tiger was great on the hills. I think more electric mowers will be introduced at the Equip expo this fall, including some made for big hills.
Is this 42 or 52?
I think this is the 52.
@@MarkThomasBuilder Shows 42 inch at 2:43 in video
Cost?
6k
I wish they would make a smaller one. Not a zero turn.
I'm excited to see what they have at the Equip Expo later this month.
Does this guy work for flex power tools as well? Has anyone noticed that 😂
Yes, Barnaby is in the Flex Power Tool videos as well.
Regenerating braking ?
Not that I know of, but I'll have to look into it.
96 12AH batteris is over 40K in battery costs that last 1-3 years. So you'll have to weight that against fuel and maitenance
Not sure what you mean by 1 to 3 years. I'm currently in my 8th year with three 5AH batteries which have performed perfectly so far.
So, it's really not a zero-turn mower, it's just rides and steers like a golf cart. Tesla is pretty much an industry embarrassment these days. I will gladly buy one of these in the future if they can come up with a different design.
Honda will be shutting down their push mower production, at some point in the coming year. Sign/omen of things to come. 🤔🙄😯😞
That's the rumor I heard and thanks for sharing what you heard too. Battery power was featured quite a bit at Equip.
Yup - you really need cruise control come on Man ...???
Haha
Still ain't nothing like a normal zero turn you can't drive each wheel individually it's still a regular lawn mower
I have a lot of experience with a normal zero turn. I'd like to test this mower on some lawns to see how I like it. It was smooth in this indoor setup.
I'm so sick of this epectro vehicle crap 🤢 How are EGO contributing towards the recycling of their old batteries???
"Electro"
John Deere z370R is a better mower
Electric mowers! Not for me, thanks. Charge your cell phone while mowing! Geeez. Part of mowing the lawn is getting away from the phone. Interesting content, thanks.
Hey thanks Beer Drinker, I get what you're saying.
I don't mind getting away while mowing my own lawn, but when I'm doing lawn care all day long, then it's nice to have a phone with me and listen to podcasts with my 3M Bluetooth Worktunes.
so still no real brakes??? how do you stop when the engines break loose due to hill steepness... cuz i learned the hard way that once the engines break loose there ARE NO FREAKIN BRAKES AND NO STEERING... i was out of control going down a steep ravine on a job and only stopped when i hit a boulder.. was not a fun ride.. 🙄
