It was clearly done with love, I wish telltale made a 5th installment of monkey island, but, of course, they had to focus on batman, the wolf among us, and other games that never really captured the sweet spirit of this game. I hope this game gets re-released on the ps4. I own it on gog (sadly it was removed from gog's catalog a few months ago so you can no longer buy it).

this game was good, curse of monkey island will always be my favorite, i've played all the monkey island games. all quality even when the graphics got you down like this one, i feel like guybrush doesn't even look like guybrush, the voice acting and script are well worth it. wish they'd make another 2d one like everyone keeps saying

This game reeks of the Telltale Games vibe... too bad they did little to preserve the LucasArts charms. But I'm glad they got the same voice actress for Elaine from the third game.

I played all 5 chapters and enjoyed ALL of them. I started my point and click days when I was 3 or 4 years old. My cousin used to play MI2 with me and later MI1. This is the closest the series ever came to being really good after MI2. MI3 was meh... and MI4 was a disaster.
The only thing i thought was good was the fact that the bannana picker was used more than once. The story wasn't bad either but gameplay was really terible. Also the puzzles werent really all that fun. At least to me...

The worst addition to the series IMO. The control scheme was pap. The puzzles were too illogical. I didn't really find these funny also to be honest. They went too cartoony with it all. Not many clever witted jokes or digs and satire related jokes either. Shame really. Im glad they got Earl Boen back to revoice LeChuck though. The original guy they started off with was terrible. I'd like it to go back to a semi serious tone, like monkey island 2. With lovely hand drawn 2D artwork. Similar to Daedalic's adventure games (Chains of satinav, memoria etc..)
Thank god, Telltale is gone! This game is a prime example why the studio failed! Stupid story telling. Beyond garbage graphics. It can't even be called "Art Style". Its just bad! The lack of Monkey Island music. Gameplay is pure trash. And the jokes are not funny. Good Riddance! btw. let me tell you a real joke, Telltale Games.....
