Brandon Flowers: I'd prefer solo album was a 'Killers record'

Brandon Flowers told 5 live's Dotun Adebayo that he would prefer his latest album ,The Desired Effect, to be a “Killers record”.
The Nevada born singer said it wasn’t a preference to go solo.
“I really would prefer that it was a Killers record, not to dismiss this record again. A big part of my identity is being the singer of The Killers - I always love the idea of the band.”
“We have these shared experiences together,” he added. “That’s the ideal. We’re also four very different individuals so it’s not always going to be perfect harmony. It’s fine - they want to take a break, so I do this. “
