    For those commenting saying the way I chose to do 🗣️MY HAIR is too much, please move along. No one is telling you to do your hair this way. I came up with this method because for one I did not want to crochet a bunch of hair onto my natural hair. 2, I did not want to have to cut out all those tinny pieces of hair and risk the tangling my natural hair. 3, the take down was a breeze simple as 123🥰 4, because I wanted to try something new and different so I did!
    Please keep your backhanded complements to yourself. The “oh your hair is pretty but this is doin too much.” No, it’s actually not too much, it’s too much for you. I came up with this method for myself because it works for me. There are so many other creators doing crochet the other way please go watch what they do and do what’s best for you. The back handed compliments are weird and hold a nasty energy, check yourself please!
    I’m going to always do what I want with my hair because I can. Just as you can. If you don’t have anything nice to say this comment section is not a dump space for the negativity that resides in you.
    Everybody have a nice day and remember be kind to yourself so you can be kind to others💙💙💙

      No need for you to be bitter about others comments. You posted something and left room for comments, don't be so arrogant to think that all the comments were going to be or should have been to your liking.

      @carynprince  ปีที่แล้ว +23

      @@tonio4713 and here you have it negative energy there are so many other things you could do with your time than comment here. I guess since you’re in the world and when you’re out in public that gives people permission to come up to you and say whatever they want.
      You are the one who’s bitter. I hope you experience the same energy you putting out.
      It has nothing to do with being arrogant, and if you can’t understand the difference between not being negative then this channel is not for you. Not accepting that energy.
      Go to a channel or a place where others pick people apart and like being negative that seems like your crowd.
      Hope you find what you’re looking for!
      (Ps it’s the name calling for me
      negative energy really got you in a choke hold, try meditation or exercise that relives stress might make you feel better)

    Wowww you’re a genius! I never thought to create tracks with crochet 🤯 I would recommend using a flat iron, on a low setting, to “seal” the hair on the track. This will burn the hair in place, limiting the slippage of the hair.

      @carynprince901 how was it cutting the knots of yarn? Or did you cut it in the middle of the "track" where it's gapped then slide it out? Bc when I saw you do the knots it made me nervous that I might accidentally cut my hair looking for a knot 🪢

    • @Femmequeentv
      @Femmequeentv 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You not supposed to cut the knots just cut the length on the hair and unbraid your hair and the rest falls out as you unbraid

      I whole heartedly believe some people only can see from their point of view and expect that to be the flat rate across the board from everyone… just because you may not want to try something new does not mean someone else won’t prefer this. Some people have no empathy and are just flat out cruel. I appreciate u so much for understanding and seeing things differently we need creative innovative people in the world like you or else we would all just be doing the same thing. For everyone crying about the time it takes to make your own wefts, that time is evened out by the fact that it will take about 10 mins to take down instead of an hour or two!

    • @carynprince
      @carynprince  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just don’t get it boo cause it’s not that serious, people just want instant gratification or just want things done one way. People have different perspectives and that’s great, I’ve gotten comments saying how this method has helped people with thin and balding hair so a win is a win. People need to stop complaining at everything especially something as simple as someone doing their hair… it’s crazy to me🤷🏾‍♀️

    Also this makes the hair reusable!...as opposed to cutting it out. If i can think of a more sturdier yarn i may use that.

      I would think the other way is just to crochet the hair in directly but this way might be less tiring to your arms.

    • @ashleyb5539
      @ashleyb5539 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Yes just braid your whole head and crochet directly onto your braids

    4/12/23 Hello I kept thinking of how I can use the yarn & still get the off & on use of the hair ..... thank u. As this platform was created for you, with certain reliable TH-camrs giving their honest feedback of the unit/ item they have taught me & others something thank yaw all. What yaw do matters & help and teaches someone who can't won't or don't ask for instructions & I was able to add to your creation. What you may ask. I only added n attached a couple pieces of yard on each row & pulled the extra yarn thru every other corner/ box braid & tht secured the tracks a little more. This allowed me to treat the scalp as well as was able to wash the tracks redo the braid down & reinstall. N this synthetic hair gets to live another day the same work that comes along with the purchase of human hair🤔. Y not put in the same work on the hair but keep more 💵 win win don't you 💭? 🇯🇲

    Actually, Aleene's tacky glue gives a better hold....and it's flexible. Draw a strip over the track and let dry overnight. Then proceeded on.

    I really needed to see the anchor part. Do you just crochet the yarn under both the braid and home made track and tie a knot twice? This looks so natural i love it. Also this looks so easy to take down

    • @carynprince
      @carynprince  ปีที่แล้ว

    Honestly, my first reaction was, "Oh hell no." BUT I watch the video a second time. Then, a third time. I'm gonna try it. It actually makes sense with this curly hair. Especially beneficial for thin hair. I'll have to regularly crochet my top tho because of my hair color and its relaxed. My guess adding yarn to ends and middle of wefted hair will work too.

    I think we have more patience when we do/install our hair. I love that it'll take a short time to remove it. Allot easier to moisturize while it's up as well.... WE find something negative in any and everything. Please don't give it your lovely energy explaining to the ignorant. Remove the comment and press.

    • @carynprince
      @carynprince  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much for you encouraging words. I’ve just been blocking people left and right after I said what I said lol, but I had to say something because it needed to be known this is not the space for that so I had to repel that energy initially, but I will no longer be engaging in it cause I’m definitely not trying to attract more of it at all. So block block block is the way for me☺️💙

    Thanks I think I will try this method. I've always wanted to do Chrochet styles but was afraid of hair loss. This Anchor track Method seems , weightless, and versatile and easy take down.
    You may be on to a trend; especially, for those who like to change hair styles.
    I will Watch and Share this technique again.
    I'm wondering if it will work, with those who suffers from ALOPECIA too; as I am experiencing 🤔 am little thinning in some spots . It may give more fullness.
    Have you tried it with straighter hair too?
    I like the idea 💡 because wefts sometimes feels too heavy and scratchy. ( don't get me wrong, The are BEAUTIFUL) BUT It's nice to have alternatives.

    How long did the hair last? Did does it frizz or get tangled like most synthetic hairs after a while?

    • @carynprince

      It will last as long as you maintain it so that can vary based on your maintenance preferences /practices. But yes it does frizz and tangle after a while like all synthetic hair💙
