You are correct in saying mini gt can do no wrong. I constantly find myself buying models i didnt previously collect because they execute them so well!
I started buying the LeMans/ IMSA cars after seeing one up close. I have about 2 dozen now, much to my wife's chagrin on me buying Hotwheels & Match boxes
Mini GT is doing the 1:64 Race car world an absolute treat. Especially over these past few years. The GTPs have been fantastic, the Super GT models as well are great.
Loving the MiniGT showcase! Always a pleasure to see all these models, even if the cars themselves don't interest me much. Would love to see more late '00s-early '10s representation from them. I'd buy in more than I have. Really can only think of that S2000 CR that they did. Other than that, mostly '20s or retro stuff. Anticipating some of those Bond cars though.
Wow.. so many cool cars 😳 I would pick the yellow Countach, the BMW M3 Touring and the Bugatti EB110 in silver. Because I have a blue one from Bburago in 1/18 scale.. But also the Puma WRC is cool.. I wished they would make a 2018 Ford Focus Mk4 as a hatch, or a wagon in grey and I will buy one if they make it.
I'm excited for the Hyundai i20, this is the first true 1/64 of the WRC Hyundai i20. We have had the Ford (also MiniGT, also in your video!) and I have a nice Pop Race Toyota Yaris, though not in WRC livery, but the closest we had to the Hyundai was the Majorette i20 from their WRC line, at 1/51 scale. The Majorette is very nice, but 1/51 is no good. It will be great to have the 3 current cars in proper 1/64 scale for the rally collection. I hope miniGT do a WRC Yaris as well.
I now have their i20 N Rally1, which I pre-ordered a number of months ago, its tarmac spec looks nice. Mine has no QC imperfections fortunately. I'm hoping for a VW Polo R WRC and WRX (rallycross spec), that's my favourite car in the rallying world.
You could get them through local hobby dealers. Mini GT aren't sold at any big box retailers, in similar way you wouldn't randomly find Hot Wheels Elite 64 on the peg
My knowledge is limited, I hardly hunt. The packaging looks great . That blk Porsche looks great . Makes we want to get a Singer Carrera Porsche . These look spendy
@@toddxhiggins sometimes you can but, then sometimes you can find some pretty good ones in stores which then obviously you don’t have to wait for shipping and all that stuff.
After 4 years of contemplating, I finally ordered my first 4 Mini GT models. They’re coming from Hong Kong so it’ll be a minute but I hope they’re great.
Keeps the price down. Some resellers make their money of the chase and price the regular at wholesale. Profit from the case comes from the chase. I just want the regular so good with me.
I noticed in some of the turntable shots that the tires seem to be off the rim slightly in one direction or another. I noticed it mostly on the EB110, the Hyundai Rally car and one of the Porsche 911s. Do the tires not like to stay on the rims on these models?
Not a fan of those Porsche i mean they are Nice but well that's me and yes the black One is way better, on the other hand the Bugatti eb110 are só well made
One reseller I interacted with isn't aware that the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm has a half-cage inside. Another reseller also never knew about Radical Motorsport until I told her about who they are when she thanked me for buying a Matchbox Radical SR3 XXR from her as she couldn't sell it prior to my arrival. She even doubted it's not a real-world car.
Why aren't we seeing new truck designs 🤔 like a datsun truck ? Seems it's only super cars and sports cars , and trucks or muscle cars are not on their Radar?
Not too much different than what Auto World and Johnny lightning does. They focus on mostly American/muscle cars and trucks and not that many sports cars. Mini GT does have mustangs and that old lincoln tho so I'm sure they'll eventually expand their American stuff a little.
Only 1 of 35 of mine had trouble. I was able to push the rubber in about 1/2 a millimeter on each rear rim and that stopped the rubbing. Also you can take axle apart and fix because they use screws not rivits.
Licensing is for losers and brainwashed corporate slaves. Car companies earn plenty of profit without making toys more expensive; licensing isn’t an important part of their business plan. In fact, they should thank a toy maker for doing one of their models, it’s like free advertising - maybe one day the toy owner will buy the real car.
One thing to remember. Copyright laws. I've heard some cases where scale model brands are sued & facing legal issues thanks to license problem. If you don't mind facing that headache in the future, then go ahead

MINI GT is still the BEST in 1:64 scale cars. Man, how far the company and Glen Chou has came.

Mini GT does what Hot Wheels doesn't. That EB110 makes the HW casting obsolete.
Mini GT makes all Hot Wheels obsolete to me.
MINI GT uses the exact factory colour for their model unlike Hotwheels which uses their fantasy wheels and fantasy paint colors.
compare to HW mainline or premium line?
@@shahlegno5890The Exotic Envy (Premium) release doesn't outshine the Mini GT. I have both as well and I'm going to sell the Hot Wheels.

I just recently started to collect the BMW M4 GT3! I’m a big BMW fan! Mini Gt is the absolute Best!
If there a oscar for diecasting cars I thing MiniGt designers will win them all 🏆🏆🏆🥇
I’m so glad the wing on the EB110 wing wasn’t part of the body mold.
The M3 wagon just needs darker headlights to complete the look
The R34 looks 👍

In Australia Mini Gt is much harder to find, but the ones that you find are usually the best one, picked up an Impreza and a few of the F1 cars.
Find in store or online resellers? There's plenty of diecast sellers that sell mini gt. Every car I've wanted I've been able to buy with no problem

Very cool castings lamley group
Inno64 offers better detail at a slightly higher price, but the Mini GT alone is pretty cool for the price!
Very nice Showcase. I like the Bugatti. Hard to pick a favorite. Thank you for sharing.
Thankfully there are now a lot of displays made for boxes and cars in one.
Problem with the USA packaging is re-sellers can already price and sell the chase. Not really a chase then is it? Oh well.

Honestly, i would buy them on the spot in stores, but since they don't, i have to rely on online sites, which ruins it mostly due to shipping costs
I really really have a strong opinion about those packagings.
Too much plastic, right?
@@yongling9825 Too much plastic. But what's equally bad: too much space which means too much storage and shipping. Guess who pays that.

Depends on your local diecast model resellers.
I hope they make the Valentino Rossi 2024 car.
I thought the GT3 RS was based on the 911.🧑🏻💻
if only john does research about the cars or series he is showcasing.... (can't learn anything from just a diecast model itself)
