That removing of the ship and then putting him back in...If you aren't paying attention to what you put on your ships then you can live with the consequences of losing that ship.
Not only is this great coverage of the event (I love watching any games with good commentary) but these two players are complete class acts. I love how they are just taking it like a friendly game. It's really refreshing after being a part of the MTG scene!
I have to SHOUT here that I love your coverage of events. The fact you take the time to add all the information on teh screen, like you did with the cards in Netrunner, and here with the Pilots on teh dead space of the screen. I love you guys.
The rebel player should have been stopped a few times for doing some pretty cheatish actions. Removing the ship and premeasuring the opponent are some blatant actions that should have been stopped.
Great format for the video! Thanks for the fantastic coverage of these events. This is now one of my favorite channels on the youtubes. Two very good players that showed wonderful sportsmanship. Grats to both.
Awesome video. Keep them coming, please! I am still a learner to the game, so a couple rules questions: in the late game the bounty hunter moved through an ateroid but still took an action. I thought that both stopping on and moving through an obstacle makes you lose your action? Also, I think that according to the FIrespray rules, secondary weapons cannot be used in the rear arc. Is that right?
At the minute 39.00 Wedge attack the firespray. After using target lock, he it the firespray with 2 hit. So, they were both crit, or the firespray takethe normal on the shield and the crit on the life?
The ship removal before realising it was focused I think can be forgiven. Fast-paced play is more interesting to watch for spectators, more fun for the opponent. Playing fast also makes mistakes more likely to be made. I think people should be good sports - makes X wing more fun! Measuring target lock using the opponent's arc though. Not in the spirit of the rules I feel...
Another great X-Wing Video by TCG. I know it's a lot of editing going into it, but you hardly do any X-Wing videos. I know TCG is into Card games, but why not cut back on Netrunner, AGoT or Star wars LCG a bit, were literally every little game makes it on youtube while the real FFG success game that hit like a proton bomb is still treated as absolutely secondary.
this is the 2nd game i watch, and the 2nd time somebody got hosed by the dice. i haven't played it yet, is this happening because the players are taking risks, or is the shooting just a very random aspect of the game?
+Davey Jones Dice always play a certain factor in games of X-Wing, though you'll find the best players build their squads around mitigating the effects luck has on the outcome.
Worst player ever! at 12:00 oh let me just move your ship a little so I can fit my x-wing coming up soon, which does 3 HITS. Should just disqualified him right there. Worse than the removal of his ship and putting it back.
This has better commentary than the super bowl. Well done, guys.
Well thank you! High praise, certainly. We've always thought Zach could be the John Madden of tabletop once he goes a little crazier.
That removing of the ship and then putting him back in...If you aren't paying attention to what you put on your ships then you can live with the consequences of losing that ship.
Agreed. That's all part of the game and the rules.

21:07 that isn't even remotely cool..
Jonathan Wooley - you are the man. Great work - thank-you for the effort.
Brilliant coverage - thanks !

@Prasamaccus you're right.
Used this X wing formation today with a few upgrade tweaks; works really well but very susceptible to concentrated fire...great vid thanks

You can mark the large ships with the 2 manuever. Also you can tip the ships to the side instead of the 1 manuever sometimes.
I was starting to think we wouldn't see these videos.
Thanks!!!!
Another great vid from gen con. Really impressed with all the production on the matches, really helps .
Would you consider having any plans? The games are so similar and I would imagine your store would carry both.
Id like to see the squad value in the description. Otherwise, nice game.
Thanks so much for posting this, very well done and enjoyable to watch!
Hey guys! Great video. Do you know when we can expect next video? I am sure lots of production time went into this video
love all the coverage you guys are doing! wish i had a big enough place to start this game up =(
Excellent coverage. Eager for the next battles.
This was really fantastic. I watched every minute! Please do more x-wing matches like this!
"This caliber of play" was disappointing.
Great vid, great graphics, great commentary. All I can ask is for more more more. Keep up the good work.
Thank you very much for a very enjoyabel X-WING match!!!...I hope you keep doing more of this!!!!....Salutations from mexico!!!!
Very well done. My question: do you, or have you done a similar commentary for Star Trek Attack Wing? Will there be any upcoming?

This so much fun to watch!! Thank You for your hard work!!

More of these please!
Love the BatReps! What templates/tokens are they using?
Swarm Tactics from Howlrunner bumps the pilot skill of one of them to 8.
I'd love to see this become a thing haha. Like some people watch esports, I want to watch x wing!
What movement templates and range finders are they using?
Where is the rest of the videos?
I'm confused. Why did the bounty hunters get to shoot first? They're rank 3. Shouldn't all of the Xwings gotten to shoot first?
I thought that if you bump on a green maneuver then it becomes white by default and therefore wouldn't clear stress tokens.
Nice Batrep!
I'm looking forward to the next!

Ya what temps and tokens are they using
Why is the Bounty Hunter attacking after Wedge?
Sweet report. Keep up with the good work!
this is the 2nd game i watch, and the 2nd time somebody got hosed by the dice.
i haven't played it yet, is this happening because the players are taking risks, or is the shooting just
a very random aspect of the game?

Makes plans plz
love these videos.
And why did Dany keep going in circles?
Why are there no referees for these big events? That would really help with the cheating :/
great vid guys!
Coming up next on ESPN 8 "THE OCHO....".
After the 1st K turn biggs didnt move
He did a green 1 straight, hitting Luke I think it was. That way he removed Biggs' stress and kept him in shooting arc and range.
Ahh I see. Thanks I watched it again and saw it this time.
No prob mate.
Awesome vid as alway TC keep it up
These templates are FFG prices for the finalists, as fas as I know.
i wouldn't have let him put biggs back down....if this was a national event, was there no officials??
Just Awesome.
Stay on target.
You're too close!
Staay on target.
LOOSEN UP! GEEEAAAAGHH!!
Anyone else chuckle at the "No fucking way..." at 36:40?
