- Before the release of her debut album, Whitney Houston appeared as herself in the episode “Cinderella Concert” with Jermaine Jackson, where they performed the duet “Nobody Loves Me Like You Do” and appeared in scenes surrounding the performance, including a scene with future Oscar winner Marisa Tomei. An additional duet, “Take Good Care Of My Heart,” was played during the closing credits of the episode.

@@dahomiee essentially, this is how Robyn describes her furious reaction when Whitney finally admitted that she was sleeping with Jermaine, so they mirrored Robyn’s book for that scene. However, in the book, Whitney didn’t come off as empathetic or apologetic as we see in the movie. Instead, Whitney seemed nonchalant to Robyn’s anger, she didn’t say a word while watching Robyn flip furniture and trash their bedroom, then afterwards Whitney told Robyn “Now pick it up”, and walked away. Whitney was a savage 😂
