hey man, madden 24 keeps crashing and im not sure how to fix ive tried a lota stuff can u try an help?
I'm currently downloading 24 as my very first Madden and, as an extremely casual NFL fan, for most of this video it's like you're speaking a foreign language. :) Hopefully I can pick things up quickly once I actually get in game.
Same here, just downloaded it myself and haven't played a Madden since the ps2 era, planning on firing it up for the first time tonight and wish he had gone over certain key things like how to stiff arm, take off as the QB, and fake snap to try and draw the opponent off sides. Guess i'll have to figure it out on my own.
Same but I play madden a bit. I can play all madden against real people and only lose by 3 tds so that’s not terrible I guess 😭

This is the best explanation I've seen. I know the rules of football inside and out, but when I get to Madden it's always figuring out all of the mechanics and how to get the best yardage. For me, the worst thing that keeps happening is when I throw a pass to a player, they'll jump up and grab it but will immediately drop it in the air once they are tackled by the man on them.

Thanks, Eric. Is EA going to fix the Momentum setting in franchise mode? You can toggle it OFF but it still appears in-game and impacts gameplay. Happening for all users and EA has yet to acknowledge it

I can feel the difference in passing this year. It’s definitely more sensitive and skill based this year. I’m enjoying the game so far can’t even lie. Maybe I’m just brain washed.

They honestly need to amp up pass rush a little bit from the dline , I went against a few xfactor DE, never double teamed them and I barely notice them
No they dont..last year it was terrible dline was op..it killed the fun of the game thats y they changed it..its fine how it is… go against m.parsons u will feel the pressure

@EricRayweather do you play with wireless controller or wired? Cos I'm struggling to make lob passes. I AM tapping the icon but 75% of the time it becomes a touch pass and into a pick.

@@jayart8751 McCaffrey's jukes are insane. If they cant stop the run you gotta just keep doing it. And me personally on defense I get stressed when I face someone like me that runs the ball lol. It's not easy to stop.

Passing in 24 is brutal! Everything gets swatted seemingly no matter how open my receiver is!
True but it’s also because u might be throwing it up to much and depends how fast your reciver is getting by him

I understand why the NFL really doesn’t use a 4-4 but as a high school football coach I would love to see a 4-4 in madden
4-4 has been in Madden for years. Only in certain defensive playbooks though.
Dallas playbook has a 4-4 in it

No matter who I play with or against im getting 10+ yards on every run. Shid even in the Red zone I'm taking it to the tunnel.
Ive tried google and im about halfway thru this video, im sure it wont be on here, but i remember being able to pump the crowd up in other maddens, and i saw someone doing it in a game against me in 24, how do you pump up the crowd? I read flicking up on right analog, but ive tried andnit never does anything

The receiver at 1:30 is actually open in the NFL.
But the madden programmers don't allow for proper trajectory in the game without ADDITIONAL user input. Like high point pass.
If I push up on the left stick and lob that pass, that's a TD in the NFL any good QB can make. But underthrown balls are a nuisance in this game.
Even high school qbs don't make those throws.
Trajectory is important in passing. I've thrown more ints this way than any other.
yep cant get any more wide open in the league than that. Pass trajectory even when you use the freeform pass system it still comes out way too damn low. Touch passes are too slow and idk if its my controller but LOB passes are impossible now.
@dkoda840 and it's inconsistent. I can make that throw one play and then the next play it's like the game doesn't want me to. Also I'm getting super tired of DBs batting down passes all over the place. Even while their back is turned and not even "looking" at the play. This is definitely not sim. But here's the main problem. The CPU Qb doesn't seem to have this problem with my defense.
They make perfect reads and throws and evade my defenders no matter the Qb.
Even on all pro.
I like the game. But it needs tweaks. Even the sliders don't help. More sliders like 2k would probably help. Also the ability to import them and change them mid game.
But it's EA.

@@somelikeithot38 Yep no one should be able to perfectly swat a ball they cant see, its not like madden has special animations that show the receiver is about to go for the ball like we see irl. NAP defenders should always be punished if left on an island but madden just refuses to implement this. Specially cause as you mentioned the user can barely replicate this especially if they do not have elite corners with abilities. Its insane how far this franchise has fallen. Sadly this madden is better than the past few but if you polish shit its still shit even if it looks slightly better.

It’s still there. Just doesn’t play out all the time but it’s triggers here and there

It's only on the newer console version of the game.
I took a 5 year hiatous so the struggle is real, played a guy who was 45-1 and he beat me 96-0 I’m talking dude knew everything I was doing before I did it I had no where to pass yet every play he’s got 4 guys running wide open no matter what coverage I was in
Yep those tryhards just know how to expose whatever defense you are in. They'll audible to whatever gives them the advantage. Good thing is its not common to play those types. I'd just get going. No need to waste your time.
EA, you can barley make defense adjustments. Its laggy AF. Its a list of other problems. I can't be the only person that's facing this annoying as issue.
How do you user press a receiver at the line of scrimmage on defense? Cause x(Ps)ain’t working to engage the receiver this🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️

Do y’all feel madden gets a little better each year or just a cookie cut of last year. Is this game better? I think the goal is to make it as realistic as possible. It’s amazing to me how much something as simple as the spin button changes year after year. Not sure that’s a welcomed change
Zones and man broken..literally standing still and leaving WRs wide open. On top of the lags/slow motion game play. A big step back from last year so far
