This is the best explanation I've seen. I know the rules of football inside and out, but when I get to Madden it's always figuring out all of the mechanics and how to get the best yardage. For me, the worst thing that keeps happening is when I throw a pass to a player, they'll jump up and grab it but will immediately drop it in the air once they are tackled by the man on them.

I'm currently downloading 24 as my very first Madden and, as an extremely casual NFL fan, for most of this video it's like you're speaking a foreign language. :) Hopefully I can pick things up quickly once I actually get in game.
Same here, just downloaded it myself and haven't played a Madden since the ps2 era, planning on firing it up for the first time tonight and wish he had gone over certain key things like how to stiff arm, take off as the QB, and fake snap to try and draw the opponent off sides. Guess i'll have to figure it out on my own.
Same but I play madden a bit. I can play all madden against real people and only lose by 3 tds so that’s not terrible I guess 😭

I can feel the difference in passing this year. It’s definitely more sensitive and skill based this year. I’m enjoying the game so far can’t even lie. Maybe I’m just brain washed.

Passing in 24 is brutal! Everything gets swatted seemingly no matter how open my receiver is!
True but it’s also because u might be throwing it up to much and depends how fast your reciver is getting by him
when i’m picking a play all my plays pop up on the side how do i get it to pop up like this at 4:38 ?

On point as always. Love your vids man. I cannot pass on this season. Never have had a problem before. Ever. I’m getting smoked against the CPU when throwing. No problems running tho. I’m also not cheesing and running same play over and over, trying to be realistic.

I understand why the NFL really doesn’t use a 4-4 but as a high school football coach I would love to see a 4-4 in madden
4-4 has been in Madden for years. Only in certain defensive playbooks though.

@@jayart8751 McCaffrey's jukes are insane. If they cant stop the run you gotta just keep doing it. And me personally on defense I get stressed when I face someone like me that runs the ball lol. It's not easy to stop.

I've always played franchise, I literally have no idea what I'm doing when I play against real people, I'll always just end up turning the ball over but I have only played like 2 games ever online

They honestly need to amp up pass rush a little bit from the dline , I went against a few xfactor DE, never double teamed them and I barely notice them
No they dont..last year it was terrible dline was op..it killed the fun of the game thats y they changed it..its fine how it is… go against m.parsons u will feel the pressure

Zones and man broken..literally standing still and leaving WRs wide open. On top of the lags/slow motion game play. A big step back from last year so far
I haven’t played madden since probably 08’ or 09’. I wanna get back into it but it’s insane how many mechanics have been added since I last played.

Thanks, Eric. Is EA going to fix the Momentum setting in franchise mode? You can toggle it OFF but it still appears in-game and impacts gameplay. Happening for all users and EA has yet to acknowledge it
Can you make a guide for non football watcher/american beginners?
My problem is that I’m not really too football savvy as far as what exact play or adjustments I need to make on offense and defense..I just pick random plays 💀

I took a 5 year hiatous so the struggle is real, played a guy who was 45-1 and he beat me 96-0 I’m talking dude knew everything I was doing before I did it I had no where to pass yet every play he’s got 4 guys running wide open no matter what coverage I was in
Yep those tryhards just know how to expose whatever defense you are in. They'll audible to whatever gives them the advantage. Good thing is its not common to play those types. I'd just get going. No need to waste your time.

After a 4 game losing streak btw I’m new to madden the last madden I played before 24 was 17

I’m an extremely casual fan even though I used to play for the lions in the flag football league (I was trash😭) I’m just now getting a ps5 because 60 fps was holding me back and my mom bought me madden too. My stepfather liked to 1v1 me. such helpful tips thank you

Small Franchise Mode complaint, it's a glitch where the draft class equipment can't be edited.
Another Franchise complaint: when you toggle Momentum to OFF in League Settings momentum still appears in-game and impacts gameplay. I want to hide the Momentum meter and in-game menus so badly, ruins the game for me

EA, you can barley make defense adjustments. Its laggy AF. Its a list of other problems. I can't be the only person that's facing this annoying as issue.
I love the run game i try not to spam it but its so good this year
Any catch on the run should be a RAC catch by default!! Tell me what receiver is not trying to gain YAC

It’s still there. Just doesn’t play out all the time but it’s triggers here and there

Ever since they changed the scouting, I have hated that part of the game. I loved the old way!
The new mode isn't fun, it is too complicated and they don't have a good enough tutorial for it.
I used to find studs, and now it is just garbage.
