I like contortionism to a certain extent. Double jointed fingers? Putting both feet behind your head? Bending over completely backwards in yoga poses? Cool. Anything beyond that is disturbing. This! Made me want to turn it off the moment Bando twisted his head upside down

ACTUALLY, the maneuver that he used is a maneuver that is practiced by Buddhist Monks. I forget the source I saw this on, but a monk was performing this exact thing to allow him to dodge impaling himself. Now that i think about it I think it was the superhumans show the History channel used to show for awhile. Anyway, through meditative focus, while scientists thought this was just a placebo type deal, they did a study that showed that some individuals, through pure force of will and meditivative insight, that some individuals are capable of doing what Bando did. In particular the bending of the spine is the easier part, but the organs are able to flinch in such a way that technically would allow this, if he was practiced enough.

Also, they set up a coup d'etat at Purgatory, so there was no strategic use in keepin Naidan alive. 2. Naidans wound was very deep, he has been bleeding out within under a minute. Hanafusa couldn't have done shit since a long time probably.

Despite everything. These two are actual medical practitioners. Went to med school and got their degrees. Bandos was stripped away bc of him being a killer and Hanafusa is a certified doctor. Side note: his nurse is, despite her attire, is a certified nurse, she just loves to cosplay.

I love how Bando at no point gives a single fuck. Hanafusa is cackling and grinning, going mental and pulling out like 5 different gross ass gadgets from his body to attack with, and the whole time Bando's just like "Okay." and continues walking forward and trying to grab him.

In a story full of fairly realistic to kinda fantastical fights one stood out the most as truly a "anime" fight if that makes sense loved the series overall but this fight stuck with me for that reason lol
