I saw the movie this morning here in the Los Angeles area... be aware, the studios themselves have demanded the highest price ticket... 28$ for an 11.30am viewing. Friday night will be 30$ Regardless... this was an amazing epic... thankfully my theater had a great sound system ... mind blowing

Ok here's a tip for people who really want to understand the core of Indian cinema yes expect to enjoy but don't expect it to be stuck to it's genre. No no no, most mainstream ones go all over the place and they still make u enjoy, the core of it. So no boxing the "kind" of movie u want to see and hey it is not easy. For eg: Pushpa is just classic if u were connected to the raw emotions of the narrative. U expected it to be an action entertainer but most of its specialty was characterization and dialogue.

Guys do NOT expect full action like War. Masalas aren't full action. They have drama (and comedy, and romance...). Already you didn't like Pushpa because you didn't get that it's not an action film per se like War was. You were unable to unappreciate the dialogues and wittiness in Pushpa because you only wanted to see fights. So even though I haven't seen RRR yet (since it's not released), I'm pretty sure that it will NOT be an action film. It will be a masala or simply a big entertainer and it will most definitely have actual drama and emotional moments. The whole movie will probably be centered on that. SS Rajamouli does NOT do full action. Regardless of how big and stylized some action scenes may be in RRR and regardless of the importance given to the visual style it will most probably be emotion driven and character driven like all Rajamouli's movies. I'm afraid what you're expecting is really not what the movie will be focused on.
